I had the same thing in my gen 6 Celica, cable from motor wasn't replaceable so I got a whole unit from a scrapyard for a tenner and fitted it in less than an hour

Did you do this wrap yourself? Any issues with it?

Did you wrap the dash yourself? Did you have any issues? Thinking of doing this myself, I've watched some youtube clips but would be glad of any tips :-)

Yep, same here, but I never retract them. I'd rather someone caught the mirror squeezing past the car than scratch the door ( coat zippers and the like )
