    next up is an Autobox strainer change and some new tires ready for Shakespeare again in 2 weeks Then i shall upgrade the ECU to one that also controls timing and possibly get the Nos fitted

    Thanks They are 27 x 10.5 x 15, they rub the arches a little up the strip and will be worse next time as im running 28x10x15 as the 27s are hard to find second hand

    bugger, ill have to get it done when its booked in for its MOT retest so might have to pay the toyota prices - - - Updated - - - Out of intrest, how will changing the strainer help with the gear changes?

    I thought it was about time i got some info up of the car. Iv been meaning to start a project thread for over a year now and have taken pictures in preparation so for now here is where it all began. I bought the car about 2 years ago, as an NA manual in pretty much standard form. From standard form NA to wide bodied TT , dyno'd at 412hp (367whp) it ran a 12.994 1/4 From standard form NA to wide bodied TT

    Hi, i dont know if its worth checking the spark plug gaps, as i was getting spark blow out when on boost, so i closed the plug gaps a bit and the problem was solved.

    Iv checked the oil and its full Iv check the manual button and all wires seem connected

    I'm sorry I'm very new to autobox's I changed from manual to auto for drag purposes of the hi stall so I don't know much about them. I don't think any filters where changed on the box when te seals where done. Is it a box off job to replace the filter? Running a MAP 1 piggy back ecu. Standard TT diff, was running MT streets 27x10x15 - - - Updated - - - I should also mention manual mode doesn't work

    The box was removed and the seals replaced a few weeks ago along with the Toyota recommended fluid. How so you raise the rev limit? Thanks for the help

    I'm currently running an Autobox with a 3600 hi stall. Every run I make up the strip the box changes up late after bouncing off the limiter several times costing me valuable time up the strip. Could anyone ahead some light on why this is happening? Thanks Dave

    Was a great day concidering all the issues first thing. First the drag wheels not fitting over the calipers, then the misfire which turned out to be an injector wire. Then the ecu vac pipe splitting, on top of an autobox that really didn't like changing up without bouncing off the limiter several times. Over all best time was 12.051. So close to 11s. Unfortunately that wasn't then end of the bad luck, having decided I liked doing burnouts my MT streets felt differently, one picked up a puncture and the other is down to the cord. So that rules me out for tomorrow unless someone as a pair of 26 or 27x10x15 slicks?

    I have the prices back but will require a list of names for the gate. entry fees: £10 for one day or £15 for the weekend. The RWYB fee is fixed at £25 for one day or £40 for the weekend. I now require full names of those coming and need it by 4pm today, i will do my best to contact you by PM if your name is on the most recent list.

    Yeah very similar, I have no idea why manual won't work, I converted from manual to auto as I'm purely dragging it so wanted the hi stall so iv no idea how the manual mode is sposed to work anyway
