YEah aware of all tat, only realy intrested in seeing 400max and i want the reliablitly garanteed from the stock tt at bpu level. thanks for mentioning gearboxes as i know know the 5 speed is known as the w58 so im realy enjoying everyones opinions and experiances but i dont spose anybody has the parts that i need do they?

Yeah i actually looked in to the NA-T route first but then decided id rather go the TT route as from then i can do a hell of a lot more if i wanted and alos its proven reliability aposeded to turboing somethign that wasnt designed to have it done. I know the NA-T route would be great but want to keep my options open to futre massive upgrades Yeah i guessed the clutc hwas probably worth replacing durring the build so will put an uprated clutch i there when i do the conversion

that was a worry i had about the 5 speed manual for the TT but Kerion at extreme performance said it would be stron enough. for what i wanted to do, itll be 400hp max for what i want so probably BPU eventually

thanks for all the comments guy theres alot of sence in the selling the NA and buying a TT but for the price i payed for the car in its condition with all the extras and the price for a manual tt in good nick i disagree with it being cheaper just to buy a TT. Im going to be doing all the work myself, i am tempted to go via kerion and get him to do it all but its the distance he is from me that puts me, if he was more local id be tempted but im more of the type of person who likes to go for it myself, makes the whole thing more personal in my eyes, plus thats the whole fun of it. Obviously im all open to opinions thats why i joined the forum and im sure theres a hell of a lot more people that know alot more them ame about these things. But yes im going to go the TT route and intend to do it myself.

H all, im trying to get an idea on prices for everything i need for NA to TT. I spoke to a very helpful guy at extreme performance who mentioned what i need and thought id see what people had. do you have a bonnet?

After purchasing a carbon fibre bonnet on here off of a member i hopped to get it sprayed do to its condition. But after having it checked its beyond repair even though i was told it was a easy thing to do. So im in need of another bonnet. Im idealy looking for somethign aftermarket or somethign with vents. Idealy im after a black vented bonnet but happy to get it painted if the condition is decent. Let me know what you have

Yes dartford tunnel with us too was quite an experiance. next time the veilside body kit and the exhuast bung will be out so i say lets do the tunnel again!!!!!
