old thread i know but is there someone about who does these conversions to save me the hassel?
  4. ooooo yeah thats nice, any idea where i might get one
  5. it was a joke dude, not looking to spend £1000 on a spoiler though. I was thinking along the lines of a lip spoiler possibly
  6. mmmmmm not for $1000 then import taxes im looking forsomethign cheaper, like 10 times cheaper
  7. Hi all, iv recently finished my wide arched veilside black supra, very evil looking, its got a high roof oem spoiler on and did have a veilside spoiler on but it was just not my thing, so im running with no rear spoiler and feel it needs somethign there but im looking for somethign a bit diffrent. Idealy id like an explosion spoiler but they seem to be like rocking horse poo. so i need people opinions and advice as to what to go for. also got a wanted thread so feel free to pm me if you have anything but this thread is to help me decide Thanks
  8. Hi all, iv just finaly finished my veilside wide arched supra in black, very evil looking, but the veilside spoiler is just not my thing. At the moment im running with no spoiler on, but i feel i need something on the back it just looks a little too empty without some sort of spoiler, but i want somethign diffrent. Idealy id like an explosion rear spoiler, but they are like rocky horse poo, so i thought is see what people have on offer. If yo uhave a spoiler for sale or will to part with please let me know, im not itrested in stock spoilers thanks.
  9. i suppose its a little like memrobilia
  10. i cant beleive how much these go for
  11. Dont spose you fancy a swop for a set of geniun 17" work split rims do you?
  12. yep 100mm would be madness. Im afraid guys, im gunna give the 75mm a try, having them made up over the weekend by a genuin comapany who make any spacers to order, considering a set of 25mm hubcentric spacers cost anything between £90-£140 im getting 75mm hubcentrics custom made for what i think to be ok.
  13. iv got a set of these in 17's i realy want a bigger set lovely wheels though good luck with the sale
  14. youd only get two 25mm out of this as youd need another 10mm on each to create the lip either side of the spacer to make then hubcentric, thats if you wanted hub centric think i mright there correct me if im wrong
  15. Very intresting reading about all the forces etc. From measuring i thin 100 is over kill 75mm is probably what id need, iv found a place that can make hubcentric/pcd adapter spacers, that size for £175. Im not doing mad speeds or track daying it, i just want the stance untill a nice set of wheels pop up and i have the money. The guys that are going to make them up seem to knwo what they are doing they are going to make them as pcd adaptors but with the same pcd inner and outer aparently they are a better design. personally i dont see the diffrence between hubcentric and pcd adpators apart from the ability to make them with a diffrent external pcd to fit diffrent pcd wheels.
  16. mmmmmmm thats an idea, get the wheels widened. know anywear that does that?
  17. yep i knew that was the other option but id need silly offset and its so exspensive
  18. Hi all, im lookign at gettign some hubscentric wheel spacers for the back as the veilside archs at the rear are slightly wider than i thought, i was hoping 25mm spacers would of been ok but im needed a hell of a lot more. I know you can buy sill sized ones, but realisticaly what do people think about putting abnormal sized hubcentric spacers on, in talking upto 100mm each side extending the track by 200mm id be intrested to hear you opinions, im guessing its going to be very one sided.
  19. well iv order another bumper from a place in devon, spoke to them over the phone and they seemed very nice and offer a garantee fitment or money back service, so fingers crossed it will fit. itll be intresting to see if i have to remove the little crash bar at the front but from what it looks like i will.
  20. I tryed fitting with without the alloy crash bar, without the metal frame for the original bonnet mounts but no luck, it wasnt going to fit. I guess it was a bad mould then. I would buy from night racer aprat from the veilsdie bumper they sell isnt the style i want i want the original veilside shame as i hear they are a good company
  21. The original has a lip, the bumper is very tidy in black. What about yours?
  22. lucky bugger, i guess thats the way with them isnt it, sometimes theyre great and fit fine and other times your unlucky and they fit shite
