noz thankyou very much, i will do that, i hope to get started i nthe new year, and buy bits from time to time as i wont be able to afford all at once, so it will be an ongoing project, and will give me the chance to clean the engine and paint it a nice wakky colour. always wanted a painted engine. so dont both with the thinker head gasket just run stock? is the stock engine good for upto 400hp?

thanks for all this, i think 373 sounds good to me, i dont want to do majour internal work, so idealy i liek the sound of what you have. Iv had a look at your parts list. idealy i would rather as much stock as possible ie injectors etc. im guessing il lstill need a piggy back ecu like the EMB but what would you recomend for everthing for a reltivly simple set up, i alread yhave the Manifold, downpip and oil lines for T4 turbo, so the P61 would be ideal. give me an idea of what i would need to change and what would be ok

yeah i thought T80 was a bit big. Good question on the compression, im pretty sure i read somewere you can use the TT head gasket to raise the compression. im all ears to info on prepping the NA engine for the turbo set up, compression reliability etc

coooool, i had a china turbo on my old mx5 and it was great never let me down. i guess ill give the xs power p61 a go then, unless somethign else turns up in the mean time

iv spoken to Ibar and i migth well have one of his when they are ready. but i think the stock works it just needs something else, something to madden up the rear end

Thanks guys yeah my photography is pretty terrible. think i might stick with the stock look. The car going to the sprayer to be tidyed up and eventually im going to get it all blended in. As for wider wheels i cant afford to buy a set of larger wheels at the moment but maybe in the future, the ones that are on it i quite like being genuian work split rims think ill get them painted black with the polished lip left alone.
