iv fit one of these before on a turbo mx5 but obviously only having a sungle turbo set up it just went between the actuator and turbo. having a TT setup is there a spacific line for the MBC to tap into?

Iv got a manual boost controller, while i save up for the electric one i want. I thought id check to see how people recomend fitting them with the TT setup. Any help much appreciated.

iv gone and fit the FCD and all seems fine. i guess eventually ill fit an AFR gauge but im not doing anything where im perminatly stressing the engine, so im not overly worryed about going lean for a second here and there, i always run the highest octain fuel too so i hope that might assist a little and minimise det if any.

I removed the bov and ran the stock recirc valve and its boosting fine now. iv got myself a boost controller so i shall stick that in there and get it running to 1.2 bar as the restrictor plate is no longer in so have been extremely careful not to push it past 15psi just in case. boost leaks are an arse ake.

Surely if it was sticking open id get to much boost?

I test ran today at low speed in 5th gear and put foot to the floor and the boost reach about 15psi before i let off so im realy confused as im only getting 11psi showing every other time.

Not sure of the make but i have 2.5inch first decat, 2.5 inch midpipe and 3inch 2nd decat and 3inch back from that. Before i went bpu i was getting 11psi nicely as expected from stock. But since going bpu its all over the place. I did a run yesterday flooring it in first and second and got 5psi down to 3psi in first and then 9 psi in second. Im geussing do to the boost fluturation iv got a leak somewhere. Im going to reattach the stock bov and block the blitz bov i have to first rule that out.

Restrictor ring removed same problem WTF

FCD fitted still stuck on 11psi, im gunna remove the restrictor ring and see if it makes a diffrence. Ecu is stock got the full tt conversion from kerion.

Fcd is fitted. Decat at front looked thin at about 2.5 inch rear is 3inch What setting does the fcd need to be on?

Yeah 11psi is stock, theres no fuel cut as not reaching 1bar boost. The RR looked like 2inch to 2.5 inch? Would nothqving the FCD fitted cause this?

Iv just apparently BPU'd my TT but its only reaching 11psi of boost. Iv fitted the uprated fuel pump, colder grade plugs, decats, restrictor ring. But havnt as yet fit the FCD. Please can you advise????

Hi, Im sitting here looking for fitting instructions for my HKS FCD and have stumbled a cross all the cons of it. Im guessing fitting it is a bad idea, and i dont want to be running lean so can someone 1st tell me where the map wire is on the ecu and also what are the alternatives to the FCD to allow me to see 1.2bar? Iv got the decats, uprated fuel pump and colder grade plugs fitted so just need to fit this and im full BPU? So help on the map wire location and identification of it and alternatives to the FCD? i have to say i agree with everything thats been said. I have never been on the dole, i have never had benifits and never intend too. I work my arss off and have never had handouts, iv never been in debt and never miss payments, iv never been out of work purely because itook what i could in desperate situations i even worked at mcdonalds once just to pay the bills. Im now on a very good salery for my age and am fed up of looking at my payslip and seeing the amount taken away which i know goes to discusting stupid people most of the time more than those tha tdeserve it. If i knew the my tax was going to a good cause then i wouldnt care less but i too am tempted to start braking laws because of the pressure sociaty is put under because of situationsm like this and others, simular or more radical. woooosaaaaa.
