hi mate, you can use the HB3 bulbs however, you will have to trim down the 3 "spoke like" bits in order to get them to fit. I shortened mine with a stanley knife and they fit good. Bit fiddly but when you try fitting them it will make perfect sense as to what areas you will need to trim.

I dont suppose you have heard of short term insurance! thats how i drove it home, i managed to insure it for a week with a £2000 excess, and my previous Supra was insureable...surely you have not heard about the rising insurance premiums!

I dont care who I piss off... at the end of the day it is my car now and I can do with it as I please. I think we will all appreciate the work that has gone into it but its only on for that much as I am hoping it wont sell as i really do want to keep it for a while. That said I am getting lots of interest etc anyway. In regards to not having all the parts on the car anyway what parts do you refer to.. we had the car up and a mechanic said it seemed to be an aftermarket kaaz LSD so this will be amended as it is just the Torsen one, as for the clutch I have had a perfoamnce clutch from my previous supra which i do have a reciept for... and yes i like playing aroung with cars and YES i am a school teacher aswel i dont see your point! at the end of the day I have bought something that I have earned with my money, i dont see why people are having a b*** fit as though they feel I have stolen something or committed some major crime. As i said.. my insurance is rejecting me having a JDM above 2500cc and i dont want to park it up just looking at it as it is a lovely looking car so If it sells it will sell but I am trying my best to keep it..stop being a bunch of annoying sissy girls!...jeeze

i managed to fit the HBV3s but yes like you said, had to trimthem a bit to make them fit properly. Secured the back with a bit of hot gluea so will be easy to cut through if needed yet secured them. They look ace. Thanks guys. - - - Updated - - - *HB3's

i thought i needed HB3 aswel but on my lense hb3 is written on the lense under the high beam bulb and hb4 under the normal driving lamps. LOL never been so confused over a bulb. Im waiting for the kit to arrive if it doesnt work then ill just send back the bulbs and get the hb4's. Iky whereabouts are you based? im near odeon (pudsey) in BD3. - - - Updated - - - im pretty sure they are plastic lenses. Car is a JDM

ive just ordered HB3 9005 HID kit but on the lense of the headlight cover, the full beam (flashers) are aligned to the HB3, i was told the normal driving headlight beam was the HB3 and that the full beam was HB4...hmmmm??

hello guys... Im the new owner of "the nugget" im really pleased with the car.... Rich did a fantastic job and im really made with it.. just enjoying it for now...ive tidied up the interior, carbon wrapped the dash surround and got some nice dial rings. looks very update now on the inside. Waiting for a carbon wing and my 6000k HID kit to arrive today. Car is awesome and Rich is a Cool guy with a mad ass dog HAHA :-) before after going to giv eit a good coat of merguirex wax on the weekend. I will post some pics up.

Hi guys, picked up my supra from Rich (supra duper) on here on sunday "the golden nugget"... wanting to brighten up the front and have just ordered a HID kit. Having done simple searches on google and supra forums it looked like i needed a HB3 9005 kit. However yesterday i spotted that on the headlight cover itself at the bottom, the bulb specs are etched. The high beam (flasher, blue light on dash) is align with the HB3 etching and the main drivine lamp is align with the HB4 etching. I obviously need the main driving lamps not the High Beams. Can anyone help? Thank you.

Hi...just wandering if anyone knows whats the consequences of driving without tax if it just a car you have bought and are driving it home.. ive seen a supra that i am drooling over.. and will want to buy it on thursday... thing is....its got no tax....and its over 180miles away.. i dont want to drive home with the risk of being caught.. i know some people say there is a grace period in which you will have to buy the tax if its for a car you have just bought.. the car currently has a private plate on it and the seller is "hassled" at buying it even if i am paying that little extra... worth the risk guys?
