  1. Since I got my supra now, I'm thinking of what to do next? The car already has so much in it, I actually am going to need to detune it a bit Thinking to go around 800hp, so I need to figure out which cams, exhaust and turbo I'm going to go with. The car already has the proper custom intercooler, manifolds.. and all the pipings including the downpipe-midpipe will be done custom. So basically I'm in need of cams (thinking of either 264 or 272 - HKS), exhaust (muffler section only and I guess a 100 - 105 mm diameter should do it) a turbo and meth/water injection system. I've been looking GT4088, GT4094 and HKS T04Z. I'd like to hear some opinions of those who's been using/used one of these turbos in their MKIV's. Responsiveness, top end power etc.. The price different is serious between GT's and HKS, I'm curious if it would worth it? Also I need to replace the dash parts with new OEM ones, not carbon or any other stuff, looking for regular old looks where is the best place I can buy the whole dash kit? Any ideas would be much appreciated, Salih
  2. a little vid of the car with it's old setup (900rwhp); http://www.streetfire.net/video/supra-GT4580-32psi_206588.htm?ref=f26dce17-483c-4616-8064-9b7700c9a37f
  3. thanks but couldn't find the contact info of Nic?
  4. I'm looking to replace my whole dashboard with the brand new OEM ones.. anyone selling them? or where is the best place I can buy? thanks salih
  5. I was not the one who pulled it, but I also like it this way
  6. thanks mate. that's what I've been doing lately, but could not find many info about this exact turbo. I don't know the equivalances in the market, I guess HKS T04Z (hope I wrote right) is something close to it, but I've read somewhere that it's closer to GT42R. Any suggestions?
  7. I've already driven the car with the current setup and it's not what I am looking for now. I will have the whole kit at home when I'm ready for it. For now I'm looking for a quick spool (3800-4000 rpm's), a drivable car. I think what I mentioned above is good for that. Any exhaust recommendations beside the HKS ti carbon? 3.5 inch should be enough for now.
  8. got one!! it's 3.0 with GT47-88 need to de-tune a bit hahah thinking of doing a 800hp capable GT4088 with more proper cams (I guess there are 290's on that, I will go with 272's), HKS ti carbon exhaust and proper pipings.. starting with 1.1 - 1.2 bar of boosts and stepping up when I get used to.. what do you guys think?
  9. Good luck with your decision. Can you compare it with the Supra you have?
  10. thanks, i really appreciate it. I'm into black actually (the best supra photos I find are black), but may do a custom paint, I really like LP640 gray (it's grigio avion, I guess). But I am open to any suggestions
  11. Thanks for the warm welcome and I appreciate the nice comments Ferrari's are no rivals I was eating them for breakfast even with a flash & exhaust only I always had a thing for Supra and it's brutal potential. And it excites me to have the potential chance to own and build one into my specs. I also think to build my Porsche's motor in the next couple of months, so I can run more boost Feel free to contact me whenever you are in town. I'd be glad to take you out for a spin Some roads are decent, but they're a little far from the city.
  12. mine is a tip as well if you are interested in modding her, pm me, i might have some advices
  13. there are some in my camera, too lazy to upload them to my computer though. I'll do soon
  14. Thanks a lot, these are great advices for a newb like me. I think I have some way to go before having a 1000bhp Supra, but that'd be a useful info for the future
  15. Thanks Do you have a suggestion? I know I should do a search, but opinions are always helpful.
  16. there are several for sale here, but I do not like mk3 there is one mk4 with auto and RHD (not for sale though but negotiable), it is easy enough to convert to 6speed, but is it to LHD ?
  17. what can you say about the hks drag suspension setup?
