  1. You can get them to do all sorts with enough rohypnol. Passes the time at weekends
  2. I've had those symptoms on another supra and I changed the rad for an Ali high flow with new stat and it sorted it right out. A quick verification of HG failure is to get a sniff test done.
  3. I have an RPS Streetmax with Southbend PP and have snapped one clutch support bracket so far...
  4. Well, further investigation by peeling back the insulation revealed this: Intake vac hose split. Now clipped and re-attached and all's well!
  5. I should have mentioned also that there is no negative boost either. The gauges sit at 0. so I'm going to have a good rummage and line trace later.
  6. That was my next thing on the list. It turned fine by hand but Will check with motor running next.
  7. Right, had a look at the hoses and they're all still connected with no splits present. I've checked the clamps too. I guess the next step is a pressure test. As said in my OP could the BOV be at fault stuck open? The only reason I say this is when I come off throttle it no longer flutters but makes a dull continuous noise similar to a kazoo! Or perhaps the Blitz solenoid box?
  8. Had a quick look whilst I was in there earlier seemed secure. It looks like I'm gonna have to have the nose cone off tomorrow for a more thorough check. Cheers guys
  9. Hi all Just took the Supe (BL T67 dbb single) for a spin then just as it came into boost, the car jolted as if starved of fuel and the BOV (HKS SSQ) no longer flutters but makes a horrible dull droning noise. There is also no boost pressure readings on either of my gauges (greddy analogue and Blitz SBC ID3). I checked the lines going into the boost control box and BOV and all are ok. I took the control box inlet hose off and blew in it whilst recording on the Blitz. It registered a little pressure each time on the recording so am I right in assuming the problem is in the BOV (valve stuck?) as it's no longer releasing pressure to the control box? It just sounds like it's releasing through the intake... Cheers Mike
  10. Welcome mate. Don't be bullied by this lot I personally think it makes the front lines look meaner together with the bomex. In the words of my friends the Hodge Twins..."It's all just advice...do what ever the f@&k you wanna do!"
  11. Kill it. Kill it with fire
  12. Having an analogue gauge wouldn't hurt when it comes to fault finding
  13. Halfrauds HB005 Or if you're loaded HCB005 Whoops, just re-read your post. If its not been converted...pass.
  14. Agreed. This seems quite common with updated pressure plates too Legend. Steve that would be great. Let me know how much you want if you find them.
  15. I bought the HB005 two days ago and never needed any adapters for my jspec. Just sayin'
  16. Well this is what I was greeted with upon removing the inspection plate! The bracket had indeed snapped!
  17. If it was tuesday it would have been me on the H3. Clutch regurgitated its fluid
  18. Guys, cheers for that! You know, it could well be that as there was a brief rattle as soon as it went....FFS!
  19. Thanks for your reply mate. Havn't looked underneath yet so it could well be. I've ordered another Slave cylinder and in the process of sourcing a braided line too just incase
  20. So worst nightmare..bang! Clutch pedal hits the floor and stays there....on a roundabout...in rush hour. Winner. Managed to limp it to a bus layby where the contents of the cylinder decide to empty out. There was fluid in the master to begin with with no signs of leakage around it so am I right in thinking this is the slave that's given up as the master is empty now. If so, does anyone know where I can get a slave cylinder complete ( I don't want to redo the seals just want it all new or nearly new) rapido? I have a jspec getrag 6sp and a rps streetmax clutch with southbend pressure plate if that's any help. Thanks in advance
  21. Can I have one of these too please? Once confirmed, I'll send payment. Cheers
