  3. from what i understand the damping part of the damper is between the hub and the outer drive ring for the accessories, so i cant really see how this has an overall effect on the crank damping, is it not that the rubber dampener material is to actually reduce shock loadings on the drive ring for the accessories???? as a thought im currently looking for a new pulley as mine has seperated, but as my car is a pure track car ive started thinking more along the single crank pulley route...and the more i look into it, the less i find about actual evidence, of ``what the need`` is for the damped pulley. i can understand maybe the need on a car that maybe covers many miles a year.........

  6. the engine is used in a track car, so its , given very regular visual inspections, and to be honest i need the pulley to do some calculations and move the car around while it is undergoing a bit of a rebuild
  7. mine start3ed chewing up the edge of the belt, then when i started it the other week, it jumped of the pulley as the pulley moved towards the front of the car...

  9. hi lee thanks, have you got a picture please. its a toss up at the mo, between a std pulley or go for an aftermarket one, ATI/titan or the boostlogic one the car is a high HP car, so need some advice really
  10. TT 6 speed..... done the searching and looked at the car after a sqeeek became apparent.....yup, the pulleys almost fell off
  11. 4.3 LITRE V8 from an LS430 350 BHP NEXT WEEK THE SUPERCHARGER IS BEING FITTED then it will be 500bhp
  12. couldnt have really missed mine....white, no front bumper, but a bloody great intercooler
  13. yep mine was the nearly completed conversion....... i had to keep driving the 430 around all day......i had the keys to it:D

Hi i only got to chat with a few guys, as they were passing through the lexus stand, and a few more when i brought the V8 is430 around to say hi. hopefully when the cars finished.......soon(its now running) i will be able to catch up with a few more peeps as the car doesnt know what it is anymore mat
