Could it be that you used a finishing wax with high filler levels and now you have washed that away, meaning the car wasnt scratch free the first time? could it still have needed refining

Think most of these will work on a 6 speed but not the other way around unless the original ecu was from an auto

I had to change the two fronts on mine a couple of years back. Cost 500 as you say they aren't cheap but if they last another 25 years it's fine by me. With the Toyota heritage scheme coming in, in the future hopefully problems like this won't be so much of an issue

Shit happens in this world, a momentary laps in concentration or a stupid judgment call and stuff can go down. But if its handled like that a bad thing has been flipped into a good thing and you come away with a positive experience in a weird way. Sounds like a company who you'd be happy to use again, and weirdly even though they caused damage you have probably given them more good press than they would have got anyway if the job had just been done. Alas most companies in this day and age don't seem to share that stance on handling a situation.

Have you got pictures and a spec. I've seen a few tt6s going for 30k and selling I know of a fair few now, there is no way there should be a 15k+ price gap between a auto and 6 speed imo. If your cars clean and stock 15k should be the very minimum imo.

That was the Old supra. I didn't like them either although at least they had a use lol

I don't understand the new found love for these everyone has. They ruin the rear of a supra imo. But I guess the world would be dull if we all liked the same stuff

Short answer yes, its definitely getting smaller and will continue to do so imo, I think we have passed the point now that a revamp will help. Ive just come to accept what it is, I've made friends on this place people who I will continue to be friends with even If I don't own a supra, the car becomes a bit irrelevant. Forums in general became out dated and ours although an incredible source of information is no acceptation. The usability is poor and difficult unless writing a simple post. Also traders etc are so quiet now and most people just go direct. We live in a world where the latest generation of supra owners are used to instant posting answers,picture uploads, likes etc etc and the forum just cant tick that box, and lets not get started on crapatalk so no decent way to use it on a mobile device, A MASSIVE killer imo People complain about the place becoming quiet etc but those same people don't bother to post or do anything exciting, keep up with build threads etc, everyone has a a part to play even if its just attending a bloody event. If you want change BE the change. I thought the TG event was posted on here I swear I saw it. As for BIG meets lots of people put huge amounts of effort to organise meets etc, and members cant be arsed to show up. Suprapod was great but we massively struggled for numbers, and hardly anyone staid at the hotel for an after party, I would be surprised if we saw another one tbh which im gutted about. Its just a different world now. Then you have the static meets although the organisers do a great job I think lots of people have got fed up of seeing the same cars (not talking about our members talking about in general) I found i was going to shows 4-6 times a year and then just looking at the same 350z wide body, slammed 240 etc etc it just gets boring and lots of people go purely to socialise with their friends and then they will be turning to their local car clubs allot of the time. I would rather just go for a drive and meet everyone at the pub these days.
