  1. Pull the mat out from underneath Dean.
  2. Halfords or Motorist centre both do aftermarket led brake lights to mount on your back parcel shelf. Just pull one apart - they're wired and ready to go Dean.
  3. Unfortunately on 93/94 UK cars we got the light cover but no guts !! I opened mine up and fitted a strip of LEDs into it - now works like everyone elses Dean.
  4. Yep, did that with my UK spec - i really wanted twin brakes ala JSpec, but didn't want to pay 100's a year for the privelege. Wired them up with a couple of relays - allows the fogs to still override when switched on. Dean.
  5. Its a hard one to remember - www.trlperformance.com Dean.
  6. Brad Yeah i believe they're right about the Lexus thing - remember waffly post suggesting i'd swap my 17" Kahns for a set of JSPec 18's cause i've got jspec brakes on my Lexus !! Makes sense now BTW - how much did you pay for 18" Kahns ?? Dean.
  7. Thats Justin Fodens as it used to look. Did you get them images off my site ?? Dean.
  8. Red. Go get a full geometry check. They can set camber and caster to remove scrubbing problems and set everything back within correct operating parameters. Dean.
  9. Be brave Roo !! Cut round it with a stanley knife Bond it together again with Epoxy Resin - mine been in situ for 2 years - no problem and its nice and tight against the bodywork... Dean.
  10. OK OK - it was for simplicity of instruction.... I only use soldering irons or 3/5/15/30a connector strips. I run an Electrical contracting company - i sort of know how to connect things without causing fires etc. Dean..
  11. ok Roo - not too difficult a job !! Go down the local Halfrauds or similar and buy a parcel shelf mounted led strip - tear the guts ok. Split open the existing brake light cluster. glue/fix in the new strip of leds - glue the cluster back together. refix etc. run a single cable down the inside of the boot - through the rubber grommet/link between the boot and body - then get wire down to rear light clusters, scotch lock into the brake feed. Done !! I also did a conversion of the rear lights so my UK Spec has twin brakes and driving lights like a J-Spec Dean.
  12. Bit of a bitch, but it can be done. Take out the headlight, remove battery or airbox - depedent on which side. There are a couple of little nuts on the washer that when released will release a metal plate - this has been bent. Reshape, refit and bingo !! I had to redo mine twice - someone knocked one off in my carpark, and the second time i hit a deer !! Dean..
  13. I dont think the refurb finish is a 'code' colour. They have a standard stoved ?? silver finish, which was pretty damn close to the original - it was not a paint... Dean.
  14. I've searched and cant find an old post relating to it... Whats the procedure for removal of UK Callipers - front and rear ?? I've done the j-specs and they were very easy - but UK's look a bit different. Thanks Dean..
  15. Has anyone done this ?? Since having the alignment done, the wheel has been annoyingly on the pee since. Finally getting to the point when i want to do something about it, i guess its not like the old fashion wheels where you whip the nut off, put a cushion between you and the wheel and pull it till it comes off.. If anyone has done it (safely) - i'm not to keen about small explosions close to me.. - let me know Dean..
  16. So i think i probably have the correct sets... What have a read about using copper grease ?? when fitting them - whats it for, what does it do ?? Dean..
  17. M. Oh yes please, that would be great. I'll mail you my address. Thanks Dean.
  18. With the greatest respect M (is it ok to abbreviate your name without getting in trouble around here ) I hope you're wrong, as i've not got any of those numbers on my invoice.... They start 04466 & 04465 but end 30050 & 14040 Dean..
  19. Can someone give me the Toyota part numbers for UK Spec brakes - front & rear, just picked them up from the local Toyota Garage, together with Lexus sets, one set looks suspisiously small.... Dean..
  20. As both Ash & Mycroft registered with one IP address and both of their recent posts used different IP's i'm sure we can be confident that you are both having dynamically allocated IP's issued by your ISP. Had you both been using identical IP's as your initial registration i may have considered not posting them as it would have been an indication that you had a static address. Though had this been the case, i'm sure you would have been well protected !! Dean.
  21. You are a god Pete Look forward to your step by step guide to converting all things dash like. I for one will be 'copying' you, i'd love blue's throughout. Dean.
  22. Following Gareths suggestion here are IP's A - originally 213.123.151.21 - last post 217.39.82.6 M - originally 195.92.194.19 - last post 195.92.168.164 Chit-Chat is a good place if you want to get things off your chest, let keep technical technical, and name calling for the playground Sorry to divert thread again - back to the squabbling  Ohh. Nice lights by the way Pete - thanks for the thread !! Dean..
  23. Yep, i'd left it for about 6months first time , and they were very very loose. This time just the tie bar was loose... You need to get the wheel off, and right under the car to see the suspension arms etc. Dean.
  24. Steve That is exactly what i had - check them quick !! I left mine for months, lost two front tyres due to the bolts being loose on the lower wishbone. Had 4 wheel align afterward, then after about 1month creak started again, found the wishbone brace ? that stops it moving backwards had come loose, tightened with a spanner stopped again. THEN few weeks later it has started again... So torquing up is priority, also put a cut washer in to to help. Dean.
  25. Marcus Pictures of your car look good, why dont you get over to our members area and post a selection of them http://mkivsupra.net/members Dean (MKIVSupra.net Member admin)
