  3. ah didn't think of that, thanks for your help dude!! Appreciated
  4. That's it yea, but that one is from the States which are the only other ones I've found, was hoping I could source one in the UK.... proving difficult!! lol
  5. Hello mate, thanks for your help. It's the earlier engine but it's in a Supra, not sure what it was from originally, pretty sure a Lexus - if that helps?
  6. anyone know where I might be able to get one that's in the UK?
  7. do you go to the Queens Square breakfast meets? Saw a yellow one from the one last month or month before, didn't see it there on Sunday though. Looks nice mate, welcome!!

    So much hate

Mines an N/A - albeit a 4.0l 1uz so I feel I can join in here I also owned a 3.0l N/A and as said in previous thread somewhere on here, they are good fun! I couldn't give a rats a55 what anyone thinks of what I drive.... people might take the mick and pretend to hate but in most cases it's just jealousy. I was driving the car home from work the other day and going through a small town centre - the noise was naturally louder with buildings each side and noise bouncing..... I won't lie it sounded great! I was in 1st gear going about 5mph when someone from a group of youths shouted "your cars sh1t!" As for fuel costs..... it's not good haha
  9. High Wycombe - is this the garage that changes names every so often? Think there was a thread years ago about a similar garage in the area, never had the stock advertised but met you with similar models?
  10. not heard of them but looking through various search pages on Google they seem to have good reviews. Cars they have listed - some tasty ones.... 400bhp Fiesta could be fun (but it's a Ford).... you looking at the black or blue Z4?
  11. stunning, really like the wheels too!!
  12. should look awesome once finished!!
  13. haha, fortunately kind people of this forum have helped me to a price, so would be todays prices - nice try though dude!!
  14. I am clearly 5+ years out from todays prices of general Supra things - my bad!!

    Retro Rides

Thought I'd post up a few pics from the RR hill climb day I went to yesterday. First time there and thought it was a good day out, think I was the only Supra there though!! Most of what I got are vids, these are the pics.... I had the pleasure of being a passenger in the Scooby pictured, great fun!!!
  16. I got a R154 on my V8 - nice gearbox, feels strong..... however I've only ever used the 6 speed (on my previous n/a) and this one so can't compare it to the W58 (or whatever it's called). For the 6sp to be about the £3k mark, I'd say this would be good value. Think the R154 is rated up to 600bhp
  17. welcome dude - show us your ride!! (I think this should be compulsory when saying hello )

    BOVs

I stand corrected! Makes perfect sense now someone who knows has explained it Although in my defence there's plenty of Youtube videos with the term on there and I thought that was a loosely used phrase for it. What is the correct term for "air moving across the wrong way of the turbo blades when coming off throttle", just so I don't make the same mistake again lol Edit: seen the last part of your thread, got it!!

it all depends what turbo you have I think - never had one myself so can't help further. sorry dude.

  21. Thanks Scooter - already been PMing about this and sent him a link earlier
