  1. im not 100% sure but i think supra's can have a triptonic box fitted. not my cup of bog water.. if i wanted to shift.. get a 6spd manual.. its only 3k fitted
  2. its a beauty! i drove a jap import rx-7 about 2 years ago after my mate bought it. it was so heavily modified u could poor a bucket of pennys over the engine and not 1 would of hit the floor! there was no room! it went off the clock in about 200 meters! fastest car i ever been in! ... but... the engines are sooooo tempermental, if the engine was more reliable id get 1. would have to be red 60k miles is about average for a rebuild.. but thats not enough for my liking.. love the cars.. just jap cars ment to live forever.. rx-7s dont! but ill agree they are sh** fast! beautiful! and what a ride!.. ill stick with the supra though
  3. thats a really good price. im 25 5 years no claims mods included, and mine is 690 a year f/c on the supra.. sky insurance and flux.. i called 1 and said the other offered this and that.. they was lowering the price and they said.. cant do it any cheaper.. so i called the other and told them my new quote.. they lowered it.. so i foned the other .. started at 1400 hahaha.. idiots!
  4. haha, theres a sign in chichester.. its my favourate! it says.." no racing by horse drawn vehicles" on the a27! now, does this mean that drivers cant race next to horse drawn vehicles.. or if there are 2 horse drawn vehicles next to eachother.. no racing!.. not too sure how a horse drawn vehicle.. like a chariot! is gonna keep up with a supra, and if it does what the hell is he feeding the horse?
  5. abz, u sumed up bmw owners in 1 sentance! people are morons!.. i sold my astra bertone which i must of plugged 4k into it and i had it up with 12months tax and mot..( basically i could get insured on a supra so there was no other car for me) so i advertized it on pistonheads and about 6 other sites including vauxhall sites! and i kept getting idiots coming round to see it and offering me penny's for it! 1 guy said my exhaust had alot of smoke, which it was puffing a little, but the egr valve had just been replaced as it was faulty! so it needed a good clear out.. he offered me 1400 saying it was damaged.. in the end i sold it to a vauxhall mechanic who looked it over and said he had not seen 1 in better condition in years and gave me 3k for it.. if some1 says the car is imaculate.. i normally say " if i turn up and there is a single mark on it, im going to hurt you!!!" they soon say, "oh well there is ..." try it
  6. if you was gonna clock a car, surely u would make it about 70k?? i bet there are thousands of supras out there clocked! the bas****s
  7. i have a work van and i was working up a hill in the snow and a lady walked up to me in the street and said the kind words... excuse me mr...? your van is moving... hmm? my van is... WHAT?!... yup i turn round all 4 wheels locked as handbrake was on and in 1st! just sliding down the hill on the ice! couldnt believe it! so there i am running down the hill after my work van to jump in and steer away from the parked cars.. so lucky.. after that day i decided the supra is going away off the road til the roads are clear!... roads clear now.. shes back out
  8. if you have parts on the car that are also carbon fibre then leave the bonnet as it is! i happen to love the carbon look, im getting the top secret bonnet, and i have a silver car and i will get black wheels with a silver lip and the trial bumper is getting the underside painted black too.. so carbon fibre will look hot on there.. just dont make it the only thing that is off colour to the rest of the car
  9. i see a couple of silver sups occationally, and seen a black sup with a nice big tail drive near worthing central station occationally, oh btw.. my name is chris, 25, had supra 6months and im broke at the mo but im working on the car very slowly when i get a spare bit of cash. this is my last car.. im keeping her til i die! my dream car and im keeping her forever!.. parts im after? hmmm top secret bonnet, glass headlights, got led rear lights coming march i hope, got side skirts i havent fitted yet, but bomex front bumper is on and i sprayed it by hand as i didnt have space to keep the bumper til i get the rest the kit on. getting the trial rear bumper at some point too. looking for an exhaust, probably get the same as everyone and get the blitz nur spec r.. what can i say.. sounds beautiful, looks beautiful! need some new staggered wheels, cant decide what rims i like most, but i like silver lipped black rims, like rs5 and gunmetal wheels are hot too.. i need a new dash as my leather is starting to peel. got a quote of 65 quid for a junkie 1 which sounds reasonable.. i want to get it de-restricted and does anyone know where i can get white dials for a jap inport.. cos u.k spec will be out. thanks guys. CANT WAIT TIL JAP FEST!
