  1. Hi there mate, I have a set of genuine ( I think ) oem skirts and spats in black. Pm me with your mobile number as I am not on here that often any more and we'll see if we can arrange something. I am in the south of Ireland.
  2. And I am now glad that he didn't. It annoys me to think though, that when he was looking for trader status on here that I was one of the very few that actually was willing to support him, give him the benefit of the doubt so to speak. I thought that it would be a big advantage to us guys over here to have a breaker. Ah well, I live and learn....
  3. No you didn't get a pm off me, you did however get one missed phone call and three text messages enquiring about various other pieces to which you have failed to reply. Very poor service mate.
  4. Any chance mate that you might have the common courtesy to reply or even acknowledge someones text messages, seeing as you are too busy to answer a phone call. A simple yes or no, i have/ have not got the parts you are looking for, would suffice.
  5. I had the very same problem as yourself mate, it seemed as though the last owner never replaced the washer on the sump plug when doing oil changes. In order to get a good seal he must have had to really squeeze the plug thus damaging the threads. When I went and did my first oil change i was then facing the task of re-tapping the sump. Managed it fine though, and did it in situ. Just had to get a larger sump plug and plenty of spare washers for the future. If memory serves me I also flushed through some cheapo oil with the sump plug removed to clear any possible filings that may have remained. Hope this is of some help to you.
  6. Is this the car thats on used cars Ni website? Lenfesty car sales or something very similar? If so then then the front bumper has been slightly modified. Headlamp washers removed and also facelift indicators, these coupled with a possible faulty active spoiler would raise my suspicions. Also there doesn't seem to be 'Toyota' written on the passenger side of the boot lid, which I have seen on all UK spec cars but I stand to be corrected on this. If it is indeed a genuine Uk spec then it seems to be very good value mate and well worth a look.
  7. I'll take these mate. Paypal ok?
  8. How about bringing this forward to April? Long evenings and weather usually not horrific? Or perhaps pushing it back to June? The way I am looking at it is that you can go Karting at any time with a few buddies in a lot of different places, but a track day is something different and I think would be worth holding out for. Just my thoughts on it, but either way I am still in.
  9. Thanks for the info guys .
  10. Hey guys, I know this should go in the ICE section but I am hoping it will get more attention posted here. I am currently in the process of fitting my new Alpine IDA-x305 ( thanks Lee P ) and am wondering if anyone has any pictures of this head unit installed in their supra? I am a little unsure as to how it is meant to sit when installed correctly. Cheers guys, Colm.
  11. Crikey Nos I'v just seen your for sale advert on done deal, you dont keep a machine long do you..........
  12. You can count me in on this outing. I am very interested in the track day, can't hurt too much getting some racing tips from someone who knows what they are talking about.
  13. Can someone put my name down on the very interested list please? When I use quick reply and enter my name it tells me I am not using enough characters? Cheers guys.
  14. Do not dismiss the auto without at least driving one. It truly is an excellent drive. Having owned both in TT form I would now choose an auto over a manual in most cases. It has such a smooth yet ferocious power delivery that it never fails to make me grin. However, if you have had to work out your running costs down to as fine a point as how much you will be able to spend on fuel each week, then in my opinion you might be better off holding out until you can comfortably afford to run one properly. They really are not an economical car to have on the road, and as soon as you start 'modifying' then thats when it will really put a strain on your pocket. If serviced PROPERLY you will have no major headaches with it, but even a standard service can run above '' normal '' prices. My advice if you do decide to go ahead with one, is always pick quality and maintenance over the toys! happy shopping
  15. dibbs on the clear indicators and repeaters
