  1. Amazing piece of kit guys trust me. Makes driving in the wet a joy instead of having to be 100% concentrate all the time thinking the car might wheel spin.
  2. Check the read on ur rear tyres. RLTC will start to slip & let go when your tread is very low.
  3. The SXOC have been using them for a long time. They pay around £35 with around 15 of them sometimes more. Very nice premises. See if you can arrange a Supra - 200SX RR day. Would be cool.
  4. Thanks Paul. Will be in touch soon. Just gonna sort out my membership on here first.
  5. Another quick question, if I want to remove the stock dump valve where do I get the bungs to block off the pipes? What size are they? Who would sell them?
  6. Thanks guys that's some very helpful info. Will pop round to my local Toyota dealer then. In regards to the handling, I currently run Bilstein shocks & springs & would like to keep the ride height as it is. Glad to hear the car is making close to 1.2bar if at 400bhp. I might not bother with a FMIC at this rate as the boost won't ever be increased any more as the turbo blades are only ceramic. Also will get stock discs & pads sorted out. In regards to the handling, the first thing I'll do is get a full laser 4 whee alignment done along with decent tyres such as GSD3's then decide where to go from there.
  7. Hi guys, I've only just recently bought my 1995 Supra TT (import) & have a list of things I want to buy for it and was wondering if you guys can point me in the right direction. I've had a search already & have been researching into tuning the Supra & am amazed at how good a job a lot of oem parts do as opposed to splashing out on aftermarket parts. Where is the best place to buy standard front UK spec brake discs from at a reasonable price? I take it Chris Wilson pads are the ones to go for on these cars? Will an Autobahn88 FMIC be ok necessary for 1.2bar BPU spec or should I stick with the WMIC? Willl uprated ARB's improve the handling of the car much? If so where do you recommend I buy them from? Will a Halfords panel air filter be ok to use and is it pretty much identical to the oem one? Are BKR7EIX plugs ok to use on these?
  8. Link is now fixed. I'm not sure what boost it's running but it felt close to 1 bar on the run. I was too busy watching where I was going lol. Chances are it might already have a 1 bar RR fitted. So basically what I'll be doing is checking what boost its running properly by getting as mate to observe the gauge & use the MBC to adjust if I feel necessary to 1.2bar. After that I'll get a HID kit fitted along with an FMIC but also change the air filter element inside the airbox for something more free flowing. Brake discs & pads will then be uprated as well as a re-bleed of the brake system. Does anyone know the best place to buy bits from?
  9. Sorry for the slang guys. The Supra I've bought is the one from the Autotrader. Link below: Toyota Supra It seems mechanically sound. I forgot to check the IC condition though but managed to check the other things. Very happy with it especially the power delivery. Although it doesn't feel quite as nimble & maneuverable as my mates Nissan Silvia Spec R but it's amazing on straights.
  10. I have bought the black supra from trader! Absolutely loving it. Did the usual checks with chassis/vin number, smoke when on the move & also when starting, body panel alignment, accident repair marks inside boot, mayo on oil cap, oil level, etc. All checked out fine. The guy seems to know what he's doing with cooling it down properly & wamring it up. Also threw in a Blitz FATT turbo timer in free. Was up for £8995 but managed to strike a deal with him for £7800 which is cheaper than I'd have got it from anyone else (apart from the silver one from the member on here). Engine is pretty standard but it does have a fully decatted exhaust system, FCD, MBC, walbro, cold plugs & also an LSD. He had all the documents including the original import sheet along with a dyno sheet from Dastek. Man these things are very very quick. I'm very impressed indeed! Absolutely loving it so far.
  11. Can any of you point out if there are any other obvious differences I can check between the non turbo and turbo models apart from the TRC button?
  12. No worries in that case what I'll do is at least check out the black one & find out as much as I can about it. If I find it has been converted, then I'll prob check as best as I can to see how well the conversion was done & if there are any documents etc otherwise I'll walk away. Will definitely contact Jurgen after that since he gets so much praise on here. If I get the best Supra my money can possibly buy using JM Imports then so be it. I'll wait the 10 weeks.
  13. The mileage is important to me as the lower it is the better. Obviously it depends on the oil used & service schedules too. I do like the look & price of the one in the link off here. I think I've seen a very nice black one on the trader though which is being sold privately & has the import documents along with a very long spec including HKS FMIC, Fully decatted HKS exhaust, 74k, RLTC & LC, Work Eqip Wheels, 1995 registered, uprated fuel pump, nice subtle bodykit, uprated HKS clutch, MBC, UK spec lights & brakes all round & uprated pads. It's running 396bhp with dyno sheet to prove apparently. Only thing about it is the suspension seems to be standard which I don't know is a good thing or a bad thing as I don't want it to handle & feel like a boat but saying that, I have my own choice of suspension. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/200951348524518/sort/priceasc/usedcars/make/toyota/model/supra/price-from/8000/radius/200/quicksearch/true/page/1/postcode/pr23rl?previous=%2Fsearch%2Fresults%2Fusedcars%2Fpostcode%2Fpr23rl%2Fradius%2F200%2Fmake%2Ftoyota%2Fmodel%2Fsupra%2Fprice-from%2F8000%2Fquicksearch%2Ftrue%2Fpage%2F1%2Fsort%2Fpriceasc&logcode=p If this gets sold before I buy it, then I'll be considering a silver one with black wheels based in High Wycombe which also has a huge spec with an uprated suspension kit & very low mileage at only 41k. If not then I'll keep looking. Jurgen sorry but I doubt you'd be able to find me a Supra that has a spec as high as the black one I've linked to for that kind of money but if it turns out to be a total dog then I'll be contacting you as a last resort as 10 weeks is a very long time to wait.
  14. Right guys, I've finally managed to sell my 350Z so now have around £9.4k to spend on a TT Manual BPU Supra! Got the cash on me now so it's just a case of finding the right one so if any of you know anyone selling one with the spec I'm after then please contact me. Supra I'm after has to have: mileage under 80k be a manual has an FMIC fitted induction kit & exhaust fitted both cats removed some nice wheels fitted aftermarket bodykit would be nice but not necessary
  15. Trade Cars are the only ones right now that have some nice Supras in. Might be going down to pay them a visit as they got a load of Supras for sale. Any of you had any experience in dealing with them? http://www.bargaincarsdirect.co.uk/156259/stocklist.htm
  16. I will not be modifying the Supra which is why I'm after one that's already had everything done so its fully stage 1. I don't really want the hassle of buying performance modifications etc.
  17. Just came back from a trip to WRC Sales and JAP Performance both based in Bradford and they had 2 Supra's which looked ok but a little tatty and the traders didn't have a clue about them so I walked away. After having seen them in the flesh I really really want one now. Would be willling to do a direct swap if anyone is interested. I just need the Supra to be BPU'd, in decent condition and I'll take it regardless of the year. Anyone?
  18. Cheers for the welcome. Been looking at WRC Sales in Bradford as they seem to have a lot of Supra's coming in. Also they'll be able to do me a p/x too which is even better for me. Wouldn't mind swapping for a members car off here if it met my requirements.
  19. Just thought I'd say hi. Always loved the Supra as I love my sleek looking GT cars. Will soon be a Supra owner once I manage to find one. Currently drive a 350Z GT which will hopefully sell quickly
