  1. easter bump Yes I have pics of it and will send them to the interested party. Yes it's for sequential boost which is what the S stands for in SBC Can handle 2.5bar boost.
  2. Wow just read all the new replies and have now changed my mind. I don't see the point in splashing out over £1k for a standalone which will never be used to it's full potential. I'm going to take a gamble and go for the MAP2 as the mapper feels firmly confident he can do it properly and has done many before. If this works, this would be a breakthrough for getting BPU Supra's mapped in the NW for little money as currently there are none which is why it's required to drive silly miles down South to get the job done. The standalone would easily have set me back over £1.5k if I included petrol to travel there and back, accomodation to stay over in a hotel, etc. Just not worth it unless I was going for a single turbo or big twins. I'll post my dyno & AFR graph.
  3. Do you have any more info than that? Can I see dyno sheets and AFR graphs?
  4. Excellent condition. All pipework & bits included. Universal fitment. Selling to raise money for a complete ECU solution that controls everything. I've never fitted it to my car but bought it second hand off a member on here. £280 delivered
  5. Do you care to elaborate on what exactly happened?
  6. Syvecs costs £1,558.80 lol. For what I want out of the car (just a remap on the hybrid twins and will never go single turbo), it's a massive load of money for something that an AEM FIC or EMU can handle easily. I already have RLTC & a decent EBC in my possession. Not interested in NOS. On top of the £1,558.80, I'd need to fork out an extra £100 for getting it fitted, then another £400 to map it at which point I'll get told I need bigger injectors to get the most out of the hybrids so another £600 on them. In total £2658.80 excluding injector fitting lol. I'm now considering the EMU but not sure who sells it as Whifbitz made it clear they aren't available any more. The other tuners off here I emailed, also didn't do them so I'm officially stuck at this stage unless anyone knows where I can get the EMU from. My cars a manual dude.
  7. According to this it can retard and advance the timing: http://www.amber-performance.co.uk/product.php?xProd=6813&xSec=78 Just going to get the authorised trader JoeatPHR on here to confirm it and I'm good. I'm feeling pretty confident lol.
  8. Sorry dude, the HKS F Con V Pro is just too much money and wayyy out of my budget. I'm the guy who contacted you about the AEM FIC by the way.
  9. Mate, can you confirm if the MAP ECU 2 is able to control ignition timing? Do you have an AFR graph or a RR graph?
  10. The Emanage is no longer available new anymore. Have you thought about the AEM FIC though? These work really well on the Supra, http://whifbitzperformancetuning.co.uk/toyota-supra-electronics-ecus-fuel-controllers-aem-p-3555.html Fitting cost for one of these is about £400 approx. Thanks Paul Time Attack Club Pro RWD 2nd & 3rd 2010 Time Attack Club Class RWD Champions 2009 sales@garagewhifbitz.co.uk http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk http://www.porterfieldbrakes.co.uk That's what I received when I emailed Paul Whiffin about it.
  11. Well I'll be getting it mapped in the standard sequential mode so the ignition timing won't need any adjusting at all.
  12. Joe reckons the ignition timing won't need adjusting much if at all.
  13. Authorised trader on here known as PHR sells them. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?98174-New-Map-Ecu-2
  14. Spoke to the tuner again and he's confirmed that the latest version of the MAP ECU software has full adjustability and total control over the ECU parameters. No one is getting back to me about mapping an AEM FIC or even supplying one apart from Paul Whiffin. E-Manage piggybacks have been discontinued long ago so that's a no go. I'm tempted to give this new ECU a try and report my findings back on here as it seems it's not properly caught on yet.
  15. Has anyone heard of this type of ECU before? http://www.mapecu.com/ Apparently it bypasses the airflow meter & maps by speed density, has launch control built in & can control boost with 2 switchable fully programmable settings. I need my Supra remapping after just having my old tubbys rebuilt into hybrids & no one has come up with a solution for me & I've phoned the regular traders off here over 2 weeks ago who re-assured me they'd get back to me but haven't done so far apart from Paul Whiffin. Anyway a tuner local to me who was one of the guys that did the fitting and removal of my turbos said he'd easily map it using this Map ECU system which is a piggyback unit for a price that won't break my bank too much compared to others. Said the unit will need to be imported from OZ. I'm tempted to try it but just thought I'd stick a thread up to see if anyone here has heard of it or is running it?
  16. Looking for UK turbo injectors to go straight into my JDM Supra TT 6sp. If not let me know what aftermarket injectors you have available that is 500cc or over.
  17. What company is Dude with and how do I contact him?
  18. To finalise this thread, I have now got my car back after waiting ages for Toyota to get the correct ones in. All power is fully restored to all it's glory. Mechanic advised a remap asap to get the car boosting right with the correct fuelling. Car pulls very hard now even better than before. Not drove it too hard yet as I don't want to cause any damage and the turbos still need bedding in.
