  1. I would have thought having a matte black car would be a right pain in the backside to keep...the paint looking 'flat' and not streaky looking? if that makes sense?
  2. hmmm...think the matte black thing has been done and been killed....maybe try something different like a matte purple, cadbury purple style.. yum! loving the stealth look though! btw, should i slap myself for loving that rx7?? looks sexy
  3. really odd...never have i seen a supra going round bham in a very very long time but last tuesday i think it was i seen a red supra going up the M6 towards birmingham getting off at J5 had abit of front wing damage, asian lad driving it? Then the next day bout the same time on the same bit of motorway i see another red supra K902 EMA??? Then the ery next day, same time, same place, M6 northbound towards bham i come across yet another supra, this time a black 1 with private plate 44 DG i think? very nice motors...any1 off here? i did take a picture but dunno how u load em up so....
  4. yes mate that was the mrs driving my car...has been for the past 2 months! ha
  5. it does waft about abit..i think the best thing to do would be to post a video of it tomorrow. will be fresh out the garage...hasnt been outside for 2days and it hasnt been snowing or been severely cold or anything...see how it goes. how easy is it to upload a video file on here??
  6. its just normal white smoke, not blue or grey.... ill try and take a video tomorrow when i take her out of the garage so you can see for yourselves if that might help?
  7. 155,000km and was serviced last year...nothing other then that
  8. i thought valve stem seals was only an issue on turbo cars??? how much am i looking at to get them changed?
  9. well thats what i thought but it cant be because its kept in the garage everynight so not as if its that cold...plus even when the engine is up to temp it still smokes abit. it does go eventually i think (bro was following be in his car from bham to nuneaton and he cant remember if it does or not) but it takes a good 30mins to go. is this normal? im just bit concerned, my audi didnt smoke at all even in winter. as for the link to the car it shud be on the start of this thread but might not open as it was off pistonheads. ill take a few picks 2morrow when i go out...be warned...its pretty dutty!
  10. loll sorry fellas. yes, i did pick it up in the end and it seems to be running ok, few lil niggles like the alarm playin up, it seems so smoke alot? and the speakers sound crap. other then that, its pukka! I will post some pictures up once ive given it a good clean and borrowed the other halfs camera! in the mean time i have a few questions regarding the stereo if anybody would like to comment. cheers!
  11. wayhaaay! guess whos just bought the supra on pistonheads! picking it up ths weekend. so whens the next supra meet
  12. Thanks guys. I would like to go to a local supra meet but im not sure how it wuld go down if i walked up to some random and asked for a quick spin? how much would you be looking at if at a later stage an n/a owner decided to do a TT conversion?
  13. WOW! You guys really hate grammer mistakes don't you. Sorry for the late replies, ive just come back from working out of town in Swindon. As for thinking im some sort of clown who drives 'raand town' ragging my pride and joy around you'd be mistaken. Maybe its the way i came across in the post i chucked up in 5mins regarding the speed and power of my quatt but i dont drive like a muppet. My liscence means alot to me, without it id be out of a job as im an electrician so i tend to be on the road alot. i polished my car more then i actually drove it and when i did it was mainly only to Volkswagon/Audi - Group shows n meets. Right so back to the supras, thanks for all the comments, the nice ones anyway so yeah im looking for a supra, not to drive around like a tw*t but becoz ive always loved the cars, the noise, power, shape, stance and yes, they are ripping machines and im not looking for a ripping machine..yet. just a well looked after, tidy n/a supra. i know they wont be as fast as the TT but oh well. Surely they cant be as slow as some of you are making out, i understand that some modern day hot hatces would leave an N/A for dead at a set of lights but...its a supra...does it really matter?
  14. alrite chaps! i dont actually own a supra at the minute, absolutley loved the cars though ever since i was a little lad and i sat in my cuzzins uk spec tt supra in red. stunning motor and loved the speed of the things (gave my brother an asthma attack lol), ever since then ive been hooked. but...ive never had the luck of owning 1 yet but that could change. since i passed my test all ove driven is vw's and audis, my last car i had was an audi 90 quattro 20v sport in tornado red but with a few tasty mods, audi s6 engine AAN engine code with custom inlet manifold, rs2 turbo, injectors, cams, custom intercooler, custom ecu, 4pot brakes, h n r/ koni suspension all pollybushed up etc running approx 400bhp. 0-60 - 4.4sec n had 165mph out of it bouncing off the limiter (6 gears wud see 180 easy) but thats where it ends,i had abit of an accident coming back from a vag show and it basically burst into flames n im pretty lucky to be alive but fuk it rite? im still here and im after sumthin rapid again so why not go for another 1 of my dream cars....but unfortunatly i cant afford a TT. i can, but im not allowed (ball n chain). so im after abit of help from u guys if u dont mind. ive seen 2 N/A supras, 1 on pistonheads. and the other on fleabay..just really looking for comments of what u lot reckon and if u know who owns these cars or anythin. The black 1 on pistonheads i really like but im just not sure wether ill hate them due to being non turbos. i dont want to be dissapointed if i get 1. know what i mean? much help wud be appreciated guys. regards, Amar http://cgi.ebay.co.uk.ic-ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190353511138 http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1376881.htm
