  1. I have an Alpine IVA-D100R head unit - single din, fold out dvd, mp3 etc out of my old car, it is fully functional and works fine, also has the Alpine iPod cable with it http://www.caraudioplus.co.uk/Alpine_IVA-D100R There is a separate unit called the Alpine Blackbird which is a standalone and integrated satnav, I have the unit and the dock. When docked the satnav works through the head unit and when undocked can be used by itself, i.e. if your walking around, or can be put into the dedicated cradle (also supplied) in any other car. I had the dock in the glovebox so the satnav was hidden away for normal use through the head unit but still easily accessible to be taken out This setup cost me around £1200 iirc when I first got it I am open to offers for the lot but am looking for around £500 Any questions please feel free to ask
  2. Sure you've set up the fuel pressure properly? Silly thing but you never know
  3. Looks nice that, congrats on the new purchase
  4. I have one of these EVC's sitting at Jurgen's you could have had for pennies mate - missing the pin but that can be sorted out with a little ingenuity. Ah well.... Car's looking nice though bud
  5. Apparently they have his body aswell so its properly confirmed, great news. They say he was living in a $1 million villa 40 miles from the pakistan capital the pakistani's had to know he was there
  6. Got to be ems for that price chesney, question is v1 or v2?
  7. Lol I'll pop it in another thread tomorrow, someone interested already so just waiting on their reply first
  8. Ah right, well nope not that cheap then
  9. I have an Alpine IVA-D100R single din fold out screen jobby with a sat nav unit which connects to it so you can use it through the screen or take it out and use it wherever else you want aswell (called Blackbird) and has the iPod cable with it
  10. Not sure if it's the right colour but... Also a plus 1 for facelift rears
  11. No probs I'm assuming the Map sensor bypass is to prevent fuel cut if so then great otherwise you'll need a fuel cut defender It'll be nice when it's done though - with the piggyback you should see a good 400-420bhp from it
  12. Yea makes sense to me bud - i was just curious Well if the Dastek controls boost (i.e. it's your boost controller) then you should be fine, as long as it can limit the boost aswell... The reason people fit restrictor rings is that when you do a double decat there is a lot less restriction on the airflow meaning the turbo's can spin a lot more freely and so boost can go higher than the 'safe' limits of the turbo's. I'm not sure but I don't think an ECU can limit boost, it can just increase it, with a single turbo this is achieved using an external wastegate but on the stock twins it is cheaper and easier to use the restrictor ring Hope that helps
  13. Expensive exhaust but it'll be fine on your car As for downpipe when you go single turbo you'll need a different downpipe anyway, but i'd go for a 2.5" or 3" d/p for Bpu if you're increasing boost and you'll need a restrictor ring - go for a 1bar ring and get a boost controller if you want to up the boost Just out of curiosity what made you go for the Dastek chip instead of say an AEM FIC or an emanage?
  14. That link says that the S2 is quite a bit better than the sensation btw...
  15. Well I got my S2 on an 18 month contract from Phones4U... But it was an upgrade so might be different to a brand new tariff (can't see how though) As for being slow and annoying - nope - it's seriously quick and can't see how it could be annoying, everything is pretty much customisable so you can just change things around, I've truly been converted to Android! Just to back up the speed - I was streaming a high def movie wirelessly to my tv and texting at the same time with no bother whatsoever, no stuttering, stalling, slowing down at all. I've hammered the phone today and still have 50% battery at the moment so I'm happy with the battery life - but that's with GPS, WiFi, live wallpapers, loads of widgets, movie streaming, etc etc
  16. Well on my secind day with it and it seems fine really, I'm used to charging my phones every night and will end up dojng the same with this but I am hammering the phone right now to get used to android. Also the white iPhone 4 was launched yesterday if you was waiting for it, cant see apple releasing the 5 soon now, rumours are saying september but I couldnt be bothered to wait
  17. Well I'm with O2 their customer services are supplying them but stores aren't until Sunday (if they have stock), the next place I tried was Phones4U and got one today - they've been selling them since yesterday.... Very smart piece of kit indeed and to think I was going to wait for the iPhone 5 - dual core processor wins hands down
  18. Just got a Galaxy S2 and gotta say it's fab, very quick excellent camera and video camera, screen is amazing too - very impressed
  19. Both designs are good imo, if the old one is going cheap i'll have it
  20. Lol, need the car sorted first and dunno if it'll be sorted in time for this - i'll have a word and see what I can get sorted - if it is it'll be seriously close
  21. Well the Galaxy S2 is the newest one there and looks pretty damn good, both Android aswell - my choice would be the samsung as the incredible looks horrible imo

    Supra Remapping

Reliability should be fine bud - i've been at BPU at 1.2 bar for 4k miles with not one issue Only thing you'll find is the lifespan of your turbo's will decrease slightly - but then stock tubbies have lasted 200k miles iirc in some cases
