  1. There was a blue 240 with a 1jz in at Santa Pod last year, that was nice.
  2. I have a couple of A/C rads and a set of pipes too (no A/C pumps) wouldn't like to post though due to their fragility .......PM me, maybe we can sort something out.
  3. Littlenum on here will be able to answer that for you.
  4. Moving closer to the Wirral.....are you mad
  5. Yes that is exactly what the restrictor ring was designed for.
  6. It's down to the back pressure that the N/A relies on, yes it's only minimal but there is a difference in running a 3", I've had all variants and the 2.5" decatted with single back box was the best (IMO). Whifbitz also sell a restrictor ring for about £12 in case you go with a 3" and need some pressure.
  7. As above, needs to be 2.5".
  8. The downpipe to exhaust joins are the same N/A or TT but the manifold to downpipe joins between the N/A and TT are different ....which are you looking for? Also they are bent to a precise shape, if "your man" doesn't have a supra at hand to make the exhaust for then it'll never fit.
  9. Since having mine mapped and during the road mapping we were using the autobox manu function and O/D off and using the box a little more, I now find that when I go out in it I tend to select manu and drive a lot with the O/D off and drop into 2 for corners and then accelerate away and up into D....quite enjoyable using the engine braking and being able to control the power more through the corner. Always pretty much drove everywhere in D before. Oh and Silver, standard front bumper, earless black front lip, Trial rear and Gold wheels, Gorgeous.
  10. Every time I turn the computer on I visit this site first, although I've been in bed ill since Saturday so there's been a gap this week.
  11. Send him round to my house, he can have my NA-T for half that price.
  12. First pic, brake fluid reservoir and second pic, igniter and the bracket it sits on.
  13. No idea on mileage on them, I fitted them and went for a quick spin (4 miles ish) didn't like the ride so took them off, top mounts look fine and I didn't hear any squeaks, like I say I only did a few miles. Have you seen the pic's?
  14. Tein HA coilovers. Good condition with no leaks, mileage unknown. SOLD. I recently purchased these from JayJay1374 and have only just got round to fitting them (busy with my N/A-T ing) anyway they are too stiff for my liking so have taken them off again. There is a link here from his thread showing the condition and new colour lol, http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?304168-Suzi-My-97-TT6-Import/page11
  15. Got a set of Tein HA's here.....£200.
  16. I'd also check the coolant temp sensor again too.
  17. Update on plug gaps, finding the info on these is difficult, Walkerstrider is running his gapped at 20thou and it runs perfectly, I've also seen one other person quoting the gap to 20thou too however, my car does not like 20thou and misses a lot on tickover. I upped the gap to 25thou and at first it seemed to help but it then started missing again (only on tickover) so today I have upped the gap to 32thou and it is so much better with the miss being almost eradicated (hoping this will be cleared up with the map). The reason you bring the gap down to 20thou (from the factory pre set gap around 1.1mm) is because the spark is usually affected by the boost and "blown out" which causes missing at higher revs but as I have found (and I don't know why it has had this effect on my car as from what I can gather everybody else runs at 20thou fine with no issue) it is not always the case, mine runs perfectly at higher revs gapped at 32. One tuning garage in America suggests 28-32thou for anything up to 15psi. I hope this may be of some help in future to anybody who goes N/A-T and has a misfire on tickover but does not know where the fault lies,(having already messaged a couple of N/A-T guys on here for help and info but with no replies) I found this out after changing the fuel rail, injectors, Y plenum, TPS, IACV, plugs, leads, rotor arm, coil, igniter and map sensor, also did the 12v fuel pump mod (standard pump).....none of which helped the misfire. I would also urge anybody who does go N/A-T to definately change the fuel pump for a 255lph as this makes a huge difference to how smooth it runs. Just to add this is with BKR7E copper plugs.
  18. Having driven it a little more I can honestly say that the power delivery is awesome, some of which will be down to the autobox having kickdown so I don't feel any lag whatsoever, its an animal ...I dread to think what 500bhp is like ......Yes it's faster than the 1JZ (obviously spent too much time in an N/A)
  19. Fuel goes to the large round one and vac to the other smaller one nearest the wing.
