Before i start an oil change (engine) I guess i should buy the right oil , would this be fully synthetic ? I know that to most of you this probably seems like a silly question but i'd appreciate the clarification . Thanks .

You could always park up somewhere , smash your ignition and set her on fire ! Report her stolen in the morning and tell em that you only just found out she was missing ! That way you can keep your lovely shiny licence ?

Should have given him an auto , he's obviously struggling with the 20 or so gears it sounds like he has !

Thanks bluecoup and blowngasket , it was the pins , all of them ! If there hadn't been a screw holding the pcb in then the box connector and pins would have fallen out ! I re-soldered all ten pins and now i have more warning lights , YEY ! ( 1 engine management and 2 oil ) . Many thanks guys .

Well i've taken it off today and realised that i need a complete inner mirror body , what the hell .......may as well just put a full new silver one on ..... if anybody has one that is ? Bloody motorists ! Its my daily so need one quite urgently . Thanks .

I really feel for you dude ..... lost my mirror last night and kerbed my alloy due to somebody's neglegent driving , ..... a loss all the same ! Hope the mods don't pounce on you like they did me ! Things always get worse before they get better .

Oh , and i now have a dent in my door where the mirror hit ! sob sob !

I came on here i suppose for a little help and understanding , I got that .......and more than i expected ! I'm certainly not on here to take it out on anybody else and i'm certainly not going to fight a losing battle with the MANAGEMENT ! There are a lot of genuine , understanding and helpful people on here . If i'd have wanted to insult GAV then i would have used words other than ones he calls himself .......... and i wouldn't have done it on here . Thanks everybody .

Oh i do beg you're pardon ! I thought about that thread title before i posted it and again having been on the receiving end of somebody else's neglegence i asked the same old rhetorical question WHY ? When i have found out ( hopefully with some help ) exactly what part it is i need , then i will post the appropriate wanted add in the appropriate section . However , i wanted to air my views and maybe other members have had similar misfortune befall them and would wish to post the same . You believe that there was no thought to that thread title and that it wasn't good enough for your forum ........YOU ARE ENTITLED TO YOUR OPINION . We are too ........ as long as it measures up to your requirements . What gives you the right to change the title of my thread ? Next time i would appreciate you posting your opinion without changing any of my text or title . Thank you .:thumbdown:

Why is it when you have something you cherish that no matter how much care you take , some T**T always F**kS it up ? I'm referring to my weekly round trip to buxton , made it all the way there safe and sound but coming home on a dark lane i find myself forced to the left to avoid some clown who obviously owns the road , ( as he is driving in the centre of it ) not only do i kerb my alloy but the T**T also manages to snap my mirror off its post ! By the time i turn around he is nowhere to be found , i search but to no avail ! [ANGRY][/ANGRY] Can anybody help me with a mirror ? Yes offside . Thanks people .
