Yes , the speedo gives you a ball park figure so its not completely useless Thank god for sat nav

When mine does this i can use my other fob and it be ok , do you have a second fob ? have you tried it ?

thats different than mine , (mine has two buttons) , one for lock and unlock and the other for alarm , i'd try a combination of all three first and then the unlock one , etc , etc . Its common for mine to do this and it is a cobra too .

Don't bother ringing up dude , the customer servicr is atrocious , i've spent 30 , 40 and 50 minutes at a time on there over the years , sometimes ringing 4 and 5 times a day only to be passed around their automated service and kept on hold and then eventually somebody picks the phone up off the reciever on their end and then puts it straight back down ......... it really winds you up after a while . Thankfully though as scotty says , the service is fine in derbyshire !

Mine did that the other day ........ stand next to car and press both buttons on fob until led stops flashing (approx 10 seconds) then press central locking button for approx 1 second , this should reset it .

My speedo is way out ........ its only got 120 mph on it for starters and when it reads 37mph i'm actually only doing 30 , 78 is 70 and so on !

I've been wondering about mine , its an n/a and has always shot up to 2 thousand revs on start up from cold and settles at 700 after about 5 mins , its fine when its warm . Surely its not good for the engine to rev so high before the oil has a chance to get up there ? -

I had a broken top front tooth for years and eventually , as it was unable to take more crowns , i had to have the root removed , as there was nothing above the gum he had to use his "favourites" as he called them ! I remember the nurse passing him this tool , well out of my eyesight , but then i saw it as he prepared for extraction ..... a pair of tin snips with little pins on the end , he put it between my teeth and cut through the gum with the pins gripping the root . I bled for days and lived off oxtail soup for two weeks ! Now that was pain .

I know him ...... i've met him ....... thats where i bought my n/a from last month !!!!!!! I did get previous mot's and the mileage is correct ! However ...... i am now worried that i may have missed something . I have just put it through the mot and it only wanted a bulb and headlamp aim . chassis number matched log book ...... that was one of the first things i checked . It seems like a great car .
