I'm an asbestos remover and as class one says , they are fine until they are broken , i imagine they have as much asbestos content as asbestos cement , somewhere between 5 and 15 % and as children we all used it for chalking on the pavements !!! lol , should you ever wish to dispose of them then the local tip will have an asbestos skip into which you will be able to place them as long as they are bagged/wrapped and sealed . Or you could always pay a small fortune for some company to remove them !

I wouldn't worry too much about the caliper , all will be well with a good clean and at worst .... new seals and bleeding , very common fault on all cars , just needs stripping down . prob not been copper slipped up for a while . I M O .
