  1. You know I'm itching for a turbo and more power but ALL of the supra's with big BHP are always having issues (or so it seems) .....I love my Supra , its styling and the fact that I can work on any part of it (not like the modern rubbish) ......where do I go from here ?????? By the way Ian C .....I'm sorry that this helps you in no way whatsoever
  2. I also know a guy who did this .......keep putting it in until it covers the rockers
  3. I will be putting a stainless manifold on my N/A soon and wondered if I would need new gaskets ???......Anyone .... Sorry for the hijack .....but it is related ....
  4. Get oil up to temp and then let settle for 20 mins or so and then check ......simples There is an upper and lower level and as long as your oil sits between them then there is enough .....and no need to get too anal .......not too full and not too empty is totally sufficient .
  5. You will be very very lucky to keep your licence and your best chance is to attend court smartly dressed and beg forgiveness for your stupidity and lack of concern for other road users .......sorry dude but thats how it is
  6. Only 20 mins away from me and I was really looking forward to going but I'm now unsure as to wether I can make it or not ......Defo sounds like a good do
  7. I had a frayed belt that made a strange noise on a car years ago .....I'd take the cam cover off and look at the gears and the belt if only to eliminate stuff .
  8. Had my first experience of drifting today at Santa Pod .............. I want more
  9. I'm going along but unfortunately will be in the girlfriends Lucida ........she won't go in my car ...."it hurts my ears" !!!!! ....Wait til I take my first cat off Yes I did consider going alone

  14. Yeah that way is miles easier than trying to get the droplinks undone , just undo the arb bolts on the side you are doing , the top wishbones come undone easy enough just wire brush the threads and spray with wd40 or similar and leave for ten mins then a couple of decent ring spanners and hey presto ..........I have just done all 4 corners on mine ....on my own
  15. Drop anti roll bar to save touching your droplinks , undo top wishbone and slide bolt out then after undoing the three top strut mounting bolts and the bottom strut bolt , lever bottom wishbone down (long bar) and wiggle strut out past the top wishbone .....refit in reverse order .....simples
  16. I mentioned sticker bombing a few months ago as I'd seen a supra dash done and couldn't make up my mind about it and got absolutely slated for even considering it ...... you're a funny lot you are
  17. Arrived today and is now fitted and looking good Thanks Steve.
  18. Car sounds very nice mate ....and I saw you a little sideways too
  19. I tried ....in vain .......to get the o/s front disc off using the bolts in the holes but they ended up stripping the thread from the disc .......so I just lubed all the caliper parts up and fitted pads ........I will get it off eventually but prob not without heat Hope you have better luck
  20. ITBS .......isn't that irri table bowel syndrome ..........
