  1. I took it off another couple of times to make sure everything was connected properly and it seems fine ....although I was rushing in the dark with a mouthful of torch struggling to see but the only connections are two for the heater switches, one cig lighter , one cig lighter bulb and one for digital clock and they are all connected properly
  2. I have just removed the old stereo and fitted a new one and now certain things don't work ....rear de-mister, digital clock, heater blower.....not sure about cigarette lighter but it seems to be everything on the centre panel .....could this be a fuse?
  3. That looks like a cool place to spend your working day dude ..........2nd only to being underneath a Supra
  4. Apparently to buy a cat B you need a dismantlers licence .......which my brother doesn't hold ......this is why he only buy's cat C + D's ..... so even if I did have the money I couldn't have it either Keron is bang on when he say's about the vat and loading and other various fee's they add.
  5. Follow bottom rad hose to block and it sits beneath the part that the hose clamps to .....make sure you line up that stat properly when reinstalling.
  6. Whifbitz do both and are very good Quality.
  7. My brother is registered and buy's from there all the time but I don't have the cash either :-(
  8. I get the usual looks but the best one was a young lad in morrison's car park stood staring and saying "Woa Sick"
  9. How freakin much ...........Eight Grand ??????
  10. I made one out of some angle iron with a couple of holes in for the bolts, easy really.
  11. The rubber outer edges of the bushes have little "nobbles" on and wear away with excess movement/play and yes they have a rose joint inside.
  12. It used to drop into 2nd easily off kickdown but has changed slightly since having the fresh fluid and filling to correct level but ok, I get what you are saying, I need to use the selector and buttons more rather than leaving it in D all the time......which leads me to another question as I am toying with having a laugh and trying it on the strip at Santa Pod......What is the quickest way to get down (gear selection wise) the track ....O/D off and all manual selection ?
  13. Checked gearbox level today after an 80 mile journey and the level is spot on ......although now it seems a bit hesitant to drop into 2nd on kickdown and prefers to only drop down to 3rd and then gradually build up from there........found myself twiddling my thumbs overtaking and waitimg for the usual rush ......the N/A rush that is.
  14. The one you were looking at also states "no history" steer clear dude.
  15. I put another 300ml in today after a 5 mile journey where it was reading just short of the lower "HOT" mark, am doing an 80 mile journey on Wednesday so will check it then when I know it will be properly up to temp. I do have a new filter and cork gasket but am hesitant to break the seal on the autobox sump ......I know I should just grow a pair and go for it.......soon:rolleyes: Thanks for all your feedback guy's.
  16. Keep it at 2.5" and there is a whifbitz cat back exhaust on the for sale section at the moment, can leave your cats on with it or take them off later.....
  17. Any oil spilt down around the plugs ?
