  1. I was led to believe that if cut it would show or register some kind of warning/fault, mine has been tied up for over a year now. Grind the tops of the bolts off to get it off the cat.
  2. Don't cut anything, just fasten it up out of the way.
  3. Was hoping to hear it screaming on full chat....still sounds gorgeous.
  4. Shame you're not closer to me, I've had extensive experience at getting these off and I even have a spare manifold that could be put on in its place with good studs..... You're just too damn far away :-(
  5. Any chance you could price the engine up.... I'm very far away and am going on holiday in a few days too..... Nevermind mate, I'm just too far away :-(
  6. It's worth a few quid that, pity its not nearer:(
  7. That Soarer in the scrapyard....does it still have the engine in it?
  8. Defo the 1JZ conversion.....I can't tell you how much I love this engine
  9. Don't need a guide it's easy, just refresh the solder on the circuit board with an iron (a soldering iron).
  10. I'm pretty sure that they are, in fact I'm using a 2jz starter on my 1jz at the moment.
  11. I've no plans to see it yet.....I did however see Disney on Ice last night
  12. I always said that one day I will have a Countache, now I know they are a pain to drive but I grew up in the eighties and drooled over them .....I still think they are a beautiful car.
  13. I quite like the look of the Maserati 3200GT, would save you loads too. Spend the rest on making one amazing Supra.
  14. The fatter pipe in the bottom picture goes to the charcoal canister.
  15. Must get round to doing mine.
  16. Get one from whifbitz as they're great quality and will fit first time .........not like the last pain in the rear one I purchased off here.
  17. Disconnect hoses then put a hosepipe into the top hose (pack it with something so its a snug fit) and then run clean water through your system to hopefully carry any crap out....I also did this through my heater pipes (above top rear of engine where they go into the bulkhead) when I had a problem with it not blowing hot air and managed to get quite a bit of muck out. Rad fan shroud will just help concentrate the fan on the rad.
  18. Tipex line down the pulley then run it and keep an eye on the line separating/moving.
