  2. NOW SOLD. Make: Started out as a 94 N/A auto, now 1jz-gte TT auto Model: SZ Year: 1994 Facelift: Pre facelift Mileage: 151k km MOT remaining: Jan 2016 Service history: Self maintained, huge folder of receipts and import documentation, previous MOT's etc, regular fluid changes, plugs, gaskets and seals etc. Car's location: Swadlincote, Burton on Trent. Modifications: 1JZ 2.5 Twin Turbo engine and 1JZ auto box fitted Bilstein shocks Tein springs S2000 ariel conversion Rear upper wishbone bushes replaced with Super Pro bushes Super pro front anti roll bar bushes Whifbitz 3" decat Kakimoto 3" cat back Walbro 255 fuel pump Colder BKR7E plugs Restrictor ring Blitz dual spec R boost controller K&N air filter Front Leather seats fitted with "Supra" logo Black Leather headlining with visors Oz steering wheel with TRD horn button 4 Gauge holders with Boost and Water temp fitted New DAB Sony single din headunit New front and rear speakers Amp & sub in boot Zunsport front grille set Front strut brace Good bits: Car drives as it should and has no running issues whatsoever, other items that have been replaced/maintained as a matter of course are, Tailgate struts Front and rear calipers Front and rear discs Front and rear droplinks Boot rubbers Rocker cover gaskets Coil pack clips Rear gearbox seal New Gearbox filter and oil Power steering fluid Toyota red coolant Advan 7's 18" alloys Tyres have loads of tread 2nd cat included if needed for MOT I have also replaced the turbo's as the others were smokey and now I can see behind me when sat in traffic. The mileage on the car is 151k km and 116k km on the engine, she has always started first time even after being stood for a few weeks at a time. There is a folder full of paperwork since she was imported in 2006. Always warmed up and cooled down before/after driving. Bad bits: Original paintwork has quite a lot of stone chips and blemishes Front O/S wing has slight dent behind headlight (see pic) Tailgate was carbon wrapped a long time ago and is showing signs of age Usual small rust patch at bottom of rear window Alloys need refurbing as they are kerbed and corroded (bought them this way and not managed to get them done yet) Dash temp gauge doesn't work since the engine swap (not the only 1jz conversion with this issue hence the separate water temp gauge fitted to dash). My priority has always been to get her "right" underneath and then get on with the cosmetics (paintwork and wheels etc) but now can not fund her further, I will be very sorry to see her go. SOLD SOLD SOLD Please PM for contact details. More pics will follow, LINK TO PICTURES http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191680590636?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2648
  3. The time has come for me to part with my project and move to something that is easier to live with ....(for now that is), I just can't continue to spend to get her where I want to so here she is, Started out as a 199 N/A Auto and last year I removed the N/A engine and dropped in a 1JZ along with the 1JZ auto box followed by replacement 2nd hand turbo's, oil and filter changed 3 times since the 1JZ was fitted also replaced the gearbox filter at the time of exchange and used Dexron ll (as stated on dipstick)also used new Dexron ll for power steering flush and fill and new Toyota red coolant. New rocker gaskets, BKR7E plugs (colder than standard) and new coil pack clips, K&N air filter, full 3" decat with 3" Kakimoto catback, restrictor ring, Blitz dual SBC R boost controller and Walbro 225 fuel pump. This is how she stands now, other work that has been carried out in my ownership is.....Tailgate struts, front calipers and discs changed, rear discs, Bilstein shocks with Tein springs, boot rubbers, front and rear droplinks, front ARB bushes, rear upper wishbone bushes replaced with Super pro ones, S2000 ariel, Leather front seats with "Supra" logo (very good condition), black Leatherette headlining, Oz steering wheel, new front and rear speakers with amp and sub in boot, New DAB single din Sony headunit, Zunsport front grille set and 4 52mm gauge holders with a couple of gauges in (NOT the best gauges money can buy). I have replaced the rear gearbox seal and the car is solid, there are a couple of things that let her down and these are... the original paintwork (plenty of stone chips and blemishes) the tailgate (carbon wrapped that has been patched with more sticky carbon to hide marks and scrapes) along with the usual rust patch that is "progressing slowly" at the bottom of the rear window and the wheels are badly corroded needing a refurb but the tyres have plenty of meat on them. I have a folder full of receipts and the import documents (imported 2006), the mileage on the car is 151k km and 116k km on the engine, she runs beautifully and has never let me down, MOT is due in January and I have a 2nd cat to go with the car (just in case you don't have a friendly MOT station). I will update with pictures as soon as I can ( my computer struggles with this). What are your thoughts on a sensible asking price?
  4. Just fasten it to one end pin so it's not bridging any two together, this way you won't lose them.
  5. Sent it back, had to wait ages for refund but bought one from Whifbitz, fitted it and it runs beautifully Don't buy cheap Ebay crap
  6. My temp gauge won't read properly either.....There's loads left in that tank by the way, I've had my gauge to the middle of the E and was still going :-)
  7. It's only the block side of the stud that is oversize, they do the appropriate tap too and it's a simple job and they are SOLID. I used helicoils years ago in my motorbike heads but they never felt strong, you could always feel them stretch........oversize studs ftw.
  8. TCB do replacement slightly oversize studs, I've used them and swear by them
  9. I have just bought a Blitz dual sbc
  10. Isn't that 4 runner cap on upside down? (pic 2 post no8)
  11. Have also found it from another Trader on here ....Cheaper I'd have thought they were ok if the traders are supplying them.....
  12. Just found the same item but from a Trader on here.....Dearer.
  13. Boost controllers (as far as I can gather) are very pricey new but very good 2nd hand ones DO come up now and again, I've been looking for a few day's now but not found any and then came across this......I don't know much about them and this is why I'm asking for your opinions but IF this was any good I could kill two birds with one stone and save myself over £100.
  14. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/291197118672?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Opinions please, I'm looking for a boost controller now and an AFR in the near future but would this be worth a punt? Are Innovate any good?
  15. I've just watched Rock n Rolla, I'd forgotten how good it was.
  16. I knew a guy who bought a black cab with 850k miles on it

  18. There is a guy on here with that name, he bought an exhaust off me, yeah that's him
  19. LOL longevity.....mine's a Bosch and has been on the car since I got it (3 years), longest I've left it is three weeks and it still turned over and fired up no problem. If you use your car regular then your battery will last longer/be stronger than if left for longer periods.
