  2. I'd not even considered 17's ..... Finding some pretty 17's that will clear uk brakes .....may be difficult ?

  4. I have another Supra and it has 19" Jade R's on with a 30 and a 35 tyre but I'm not happy with the ride, my last Supra had 18" Advan 7's with a 35 and 40 tyre and it felt so much better, the 19's seem to "wander" a lot easier and just generally feel more "solid" (like it has solid rubber tyres on it). It has standard shocks on whereas the other supra had Tein springs with Bilstein shocks along with the 18's but felt so much more comfortable. Is this how they are with bigger wheels? or am I imagining things? To be quite honest I don't really like the Jade R's and would much prefer the 18" Advan 7 spokes I used to have but I'm unsure as to wether they would fit over my big brakes. Has anyone experienced this with a bigger wheel?
  5. Not in such a rush now, just ordered an N/A-T kit.
  6. Ha, what with people's spelling on here, I fly read that and thought someone was referring to "old testicles"....... Well I thought it was amusing
  7. The car has had a previous bid of £14k, did you look at the bid history?
  8. Silver one on Ebay £75 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1994-Genuine-Toyota-Supra-MK4-Bonnet-/281840427184?hash=item419effa0b0:g:m-EAAOSw5ZBWL3t1
  9. Oh I see, so if I went for a chaser engine then I'd also need a soarer engine loom....
  10. My latest supra (N/A) came with a "loop" top one so I found a flat top one as I thought it was wrong but then after checking lots and lots of different engine pic's I found that both are used but the flat black one is the most common. They are both the same length.
  11. I'm after a standard one, yes I'd like to buy a complete auto Soarer ....do you know of one? Also contemplating buying a Chaser 1j but not sure if the wiring is the same as on the Soarer 1j.
  12. I've recently discovered that there are two types of dipstick with the 2jz, one has an orange "loop" top and the other is the flat black top.
  13. Looking for a 1JZ engine and ecu ....N/A's are ok but........
  14. Will an Aristo vvti 2jz-gte engine drop straight into an N/A supra and will the engine loom plugs connect straight to the N/A body loom plugs?
  15. Perfect time to get a trial rear fitted and painted, much cheaper than £2.5k jesus......cheaper than £1.5k
  16. Never had an air lock in any of mine either although they always tend to blow cold after a refill until I take it for a blast (from warm) and drive in 2nd up to around 5 or 6k revs then let off the throttle while it "engine brakes" back down to around 2k..... Usually feel the heat kick in then. I would also mention that after 20 years of being driven around without flushing then the fine particles build up to form a hard mass that needs attacking with something other than a gentle flow of water to clear. Should mention that mine is an auto hence the holding it in 2nd.....Or follow the same procedure in Drive but with the overdrive off.
  17. In real need of number plate holder, next in que I guess
  18. It's been down for a few weeks while they fiddled with it....good to know it's working again:)
