Some might say you're on the wrong forum, a soarer engine in a BMW ....where's the Supra......I'm afraid I can't help with your question but I'm sure somebody will be along who can.

Not spent as much time as I would have liked over Xmas on this but I have managed a few things Cut and shortened the screamer pipe, the weld is a bit rough (welder not feeding wire continuously) but its sealed all way round and will do it's job, fitted the o2 sensors and wrapped the downpipe also wired in the Emanage loom. My Innovate wideband has arrived and I've fitted a 6psi spring in the wastegate, I'm now starting to measure and buy the intercooler pipework, not sure exactly which way I'm going to route it yet as I've seen a few variations. Also fitted new oil and filter. I had another "Y" pipe and throttle body which was a lot cleaner so I swapped over the throttle linkage and dashpot (without adjusting anything) so hopefully this will not have an adverse effect on the gearchanges, I cleaned out the IACV while I was there but didn't touch the TPS. I found a listing on Ebay for new rocker gaskets @ £2 ....delivered, so I bought some to see if they were the right ones and they are then I tried to put the link on here but they had realised their mistake and adjusted the price

Don't really want to go smaller than 18's.

My rear window fogs up rather quickly too and one thing I'm going to check is the footwell under the carpet just to rule out the heater matrix seeping warm water into the car.

There was one for sale a while back from a member called Nicholas with 80k on it, I think his membership has expired now.

They are a non interference engine so if the cambelt does break then it will not damage the pistons/valves, only your timing will slip. Cam belt should be changed every 100k km. Welcome to the club and Supra ownership.

You don't have to take the sump off....he only wants to drop 2 litres, why mess around with the hoses ????

Take drain plug out .....2ish litres will come out......replenish down gearbox dipstick tube......simple.

I don't like the 19" Jade R's that came on my most recent supra and am looking for some 18's with tyres to swap, preferably something like my last ones Advan 7's (gold 7 spokes) or maybe 5 spokes but am open to others maybe.....They must fit over UK brakes. The Jade R's are heavily curbed especially on the O/S but the tyres are good..... Anyone interested? Looking for a swap as I need the car daily so can not do the "sell these then buy others" bit. Girlfriend's lucida had a leak from one of the pipes (trans cooler)and the level got quite low anyway she eventually had it fixed and although the fluid is back up to level it has had this same issue ever since. I don't know if this helps you any....

The needle will go as low as the middle line of the E and still run, as I found out once when I accidentally turned on to a motorway when searching for a fuel station.
