  1. I'm interested;) let me know if it doesnt go to plan with Dave_SZ-R. Thanks
  2. Yes, I used a 10tonne hydrauoic press but the bearing was a koyo which I don't think is OEM. But if the non-OEM bearings don't work would they supply them to me?
  3. Hi Keron do you have a pair of the stock rear plastic arch trims. Thanks
  4. Have I missed something? What is the price chap?
  5. I have sorted the problem with the bearing i'm still not 100% its a fix though. I took the hub apart to re-new the bearing and realised that the bearing seal, closest to the car, was not in the correct position it was presses all the way down to the shoulder so after a bit of measuring i worked out that the seal should only be pressed down so far that there is a 4mm gap so the seal can seal the spline shaft not stop the grease from coming out of the bearing. If anyone has a clue what i'm going on about could you please confirm? Thank to all for the help
  6. Hi everyone i'm looking for a pair of rear plastic outer arches. Thanks
  7. Ray have you thought of doing another 30? They seem very popular
  8. very true guys but this would cause some horrible noises surely and i have need no noise from the offending corner also i have tried to torque the hub nut up again and it didnt budge.
  9. Thanks David i will keep you in mind get paid thursday, will you post as long as i pay through paypal?
  10. Thanks chris as i said above i'm gonna fit the bearing on friday and have a good inspection of the splines if it's not that then I'll resort to balling my eyes out lol
  11. Hi Rickeh, thanks for replying, I chose not to drive the car in the end hopefully i'v saved the hub. I got another new bearing today and I hope to fit it friday and maybe find out the main cause of this mess too. I will let you know what I find. Thanks

    Hi

Thanks everyone. I have plans but only small ones, i want to keep it simple and reliable mainly because i like to drive the car alot (who doesn't!) and rack up many miles i'v not even had the car a year and i'v already put a few thousand on the clock. The mods so far are a HKS air induction and an unknown aftermarket exhaust which was already on the car hope to maybe get an Apexi neo to get full use of the mods, probably pointless on the n/a not sure need more info on that.

  15. Hi there I have a 94 n/a supra and it's my joy but sadly it's giving me wheel bearing problems, i'll try and tell you the full story. My rear wheel bearing went about 4 weeks ago so i changed the bearing and the hub(part with the internal spline) with new parts, which wasn't easy, and it went well until today when i noticed the car was pulling sideways while driving straight so i went home jacked the :)spaceship:) up and sure enough there was play in the rear n/s wheel 12-6 3-9 even with the footbrake down! I can't beleive it's the same wheel 4weeks later even though I bought new parts. So after hours of internet research(mostly here) I have come to the conclusion that the spline on the drive shaft must have been worn from the last bearing failure. What do you think? I know this is a silly question but is it risky to drive with a failing bearing?Anybody know from experience? The bearing hasn't started to make any noises yet only play in the wheel I was planning on driving it untill it starts grinding as I have no other transport. I plan on replacing the bearing, hub and driveshaft will driving the car do anymore damage? Thanks Sorry guys I do not want any parts (will pay the membership fee this week.....ooops)

  17. Hi did you find the problem? I had a rear bearing and hub drive replaced a few weeks ago but I have checked for wheel play today, beacause the car didnt feel right, and there was! How is this with a new bearing and hub drive? I did carryout the repair myself but i'm pretty compitent in my work abilitys (engineer for 7yrs), should i just pay someone to fix it second time around?
