  1. This might be a silly question but hey, are all Supra bonnets aluminium?
  2. Don't do it! The wheels you already have on your car look fantastic
  3. I can give you another week to save up more money
  4. Hi herbie. Thanks for the advise. I know these cars are very special and my one is worth alot more to me than what i'm selling it for and the car really is a s nice as in the pics, the pics were only taken weekend just gone but even with that said at £2300 it's still not selling
  5. My Supra has to go back up for sale unfortunately. The car is machanically sound and runs beautifully apart from rear quarter damage and a few faults (listed in the ad). Its a 1993 j-spec SZ manual N/A with 137000 miles on the clock. MOT till june 2011, TAX till August 2011. G4 Clifford Alarm OEM Sideskirts Tein Super Street Shocks & Springs Rear Wiper Removed Proffesionally UK Spec Headlights Super Advan 17'' Wheels w/good tyres Aftermarket Exhaust Zun Sport Bumper Grills Do-Luck Braided Brake Hoses HKS Induction Converted to MPH Bad points: Had a prang in it a couple of days ago which caused damage to the passenger side rear quarter(shown in pics) No stereo equiptment included The driver's side of the car seems to have been repainted and there is a bit of paint flake on the bottom of the rear arch(shown in picture) and the drivers side window is Toyota but isnt from the factory. Apart from what i'v had respayed since i'v owned the car (Tailgate, Bonnet and front bumper) The paintwork, especially the driver's side, isn't fantastic. Due to the condition of the paintwork when I got the car I was a bit worried so I checked and there is no record of this car being in an accident on the DVLA database. I just want to add that nobody ever notices the imperfections in the paint until I mention it. I have been driving this car for nearly 2 years now and it drives very smooth, it's gone through 2 MOT's without any major problems so i would be more than happy to say that its machanically fine. The Advan wheels have been painted with a rattle can so they're peeling abit but nothing obvious really. Red triangle appears on the dash Speedo doesn't work at all. Interior panels were painted but 2 out of the 6 panels have started to bubble. Theirs a tear in the drivers side doorcard. I'm pretty sure thats it. No plastic trimming for the rear arch's. The only history i'v got is the import document and the history i'v amounted over the past 20months i'v had it. £1600
  6. I'm going to try and get as much as possible for this. It's now on PH http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1898592.htm
  7. I would have thought in the condition its in and if it was original j-spec condition it would fetch about £16-1700 but with the uk headliights, alarm ect it would reach £2000 easy. Iv seen a couple of auto N/A's go for near £2400 but never seen a manual for anywhere near that cheap so mines got to be worth somewhere near the £2000 range even in the condition its in, surely? I would love to keep this car but currently I have no other car to drive and the supra insurance is hardly any cheaper to insure than last year add petrol prices to that and its a struggle. I'm young and i'm lucky that I got to drive her everyday for a year!
  8. I have no documents in regards to when the ODO was converted. Is there any other way of finding out whether the ODO is correct?
  9. It would be nice to fix all the small faults but I really do need to sell this. Any jobs going evin?
  10. I'm sure £1500 would be too low wouldn't it? That would be a bargain for anyone.
  11. I'm pretty sure all the panels are original just repainted maybe with a little filler under there somewhere. Thanks evin that price seems reasonable.
  12. That's what I thought but a little bit came off one day and it was a black flake.
  13. I have unfortunately got to sell my pride and joy .I'm just wondering what its worth as it has alot of problems. Its a Black 93 j-spec manual N/A with 140000 miles. MOT till june 2011 TAX till Oct 2010. Clifford G4 alarm UK spec headlights with 6000k HID's TIEN super street suspention 17'' Super Advan wheels with very good tyres tyres HKS Induction Aftermarket exhaust I have no idea what make it is Zunsport bumper grills The rear wiper and jet has been removed Speedo and odo converted to mile/ph Air con works BAD POINTS Pretty sure the car has been in some sort of accident because the drivers side of the car(apart from the front wing) has been repainted and there is a bit of paint flake on the bottom of the rear arch(shown in picture) and the drivers side window isnt original. The passenger side window doesn't work because the cable has snapped. Rear wheel bearing needs changing. Speedo doesn't work at all, it stopped about 2 months ago. Theres a tear in the drivers side doorcard. I'm pretty sure thats it. Please take into account that I have been driving this car for over a year and it drives very smooth, it's gone through 2 MOT's without any major problems so i would be prepared to say that its machanically good, I'v looked under the car and everything seems to be original so I really don't think the accident was major and I should mention that there is no record of this car being in an accident on the DVLA database. The only history i'v got is the history i'v amounted over the past 14months i'v had it. The reason i'm asking what it's worth is because I do realise the problems with it and I want to sell it honestly. Thanks Dan
  14. Is there anymore news on the mapping? The anticipation is killing me!
  15. I believe that the tube socket you pointed out are als known as injector removal sockets. Hope that helps you to find one with the size you need. You would be better off using an allen key in a rachet, theyre alot stronger that a standard allen key

    Hi All

Welcome Brett, your not going to wriggle out of that one that easy! Your not allowed to diss the N/A until your a TT owner then, and only then, can you join in with all the other TT owners on here
  17. I'm ashamed to be apart of the same race as these idiots. I would still have your motor over the DB though, even after the damage

Hi Luke and welcome. This forum will definatley provide everything you need to know about the Supra's, the search button is your friend! 1) As far as i'm aware there is not a reliabilty difference between the j-spec and the uk. The sprayers can easily be removed by buying another front bumper you do see a few for sale on this forum, quite cheap too 2) Never heard of 2 door or 3 door all the Supra's I have seen have had the same amount of doors on them, including mine. 3) I am not a TT owner so I could'nt point out any common faults or things to look out for when buying yours. Just make sure you buy one with as much service history as possible I you really want peace of mind.
  19. That's creeped me out! I remember at my old house I also had a strong urge to run up the stairs without looking back because I was terrified of what I may see and most of the time I was in the house alone. I'v got goosys now

    Replacing headunit

hi there what you need is a plastic tray to fill the void it just slides in and will help to support your cd unit better. Theyre pretty common and should be easy to find.
  21. Hi Niko and welcome! Congrats on getting the Supra! I remember the day I got my Supe it was a good day and i'll never forget it. Niko won't be replying for a while as he has a Supra to rack up some miles in
  22. this is going to sound sarcastic but its not! Is the engines coolant level correct? Is the cars engine up to temperature when trying the heater?
