  1. 500 lies !!!!!!!! Hahahaha good progress update though. Keep em coming
  2. Time well spent by the looks of it buddy. Looks awesome.
  3. they brew their own up there....its basically the alcohol that doesn't taste strong enough so it goes into the fuel tanks !
  4. yeaaaah.... knew thats what it was but asked anyway out of politeness. haha.... looks good actually. better than squint and buckled copper jobbies.
  5. yeah man... don't sell yourself short on it. if you underpriced it just explain to any potential buyers lined up . Theyre probably only after it because its underpriced anyway and any serious buyers will know the value and will pay what its worth at the end of the day.
  6. OEM+. If its blak plastic then paint it a nice black with plenty laquer. If its bare alu then paint it a nice metalic silver. Replate all nuts and bolts. Renew/refurb all plastics and rubbers and repaint the bay... Couple that with a mild tuck of the wiring and itll look splendid.. Less is more and ifs a nice offset to gold rush too
  7. This thread coupled with the mental image of your legendary "hitting stick" skills have made me realise I really don't have enough hammers in my tool box !!! So a set of 4 have been bought of the bay this afternoon !!! Thanks for your input on this matter.
  8. big rubber mallet works fine and try and not damage the rubber boot Swampy. just hit it on alternating sides while giving it a little pull from the diff. I'm sure a man of your precision will do a splendid job with an even bigger metal hammer though !
  9. yeah man.. these things take time. assume they cant reply cause they are so busy working on your supra .
  10. I am in stitches because of the few seconds of footage at 0:36 in that video. The E-class road block !!!!! awesome taking charge of the roads like that. !!!
  11. I have a workmate who lives 50 minutes from the track. He keeps telling me to fly over and crash at his for a weekend and we'll hit up the show. Still cannot workout why I've not gone yet !!!
  12. Good job I read the thread title twice... you almost got a photo of my toodle with a diameter tape measure around it !!!
  13. Worth 27k or not.....I'm having surgery on monday to remove a kidney, lung and anything else they can find so i can buy the bugger !!!!!! seriously considering knocking my aristo project on the head to buy this, then put all the good bits from the luxobarge into the supra if it even needs them. This one and the red one are japans top supra's at the moment according the the FB page. And I cant see why that statement wouldnt be true TBH.
  14. S362 with the billet wheel would be the ticket !! or boost lab equivelant. I'm now using a S366 with the boost lab billet wheel. Not sure on spool or power yet....but I'm sure its gonna be good. The 366 with the stock wheel hit full boost at about 4k on a VVTi motor and the whifbitz twin wastegate manifold if i remember right and that was running 567bhp.
  15. ha.....i like that !!! very nice teaser......now wheres the boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooost version of the video !
  16. will there be a thread in your 2bar tuning section regarding the change with syvecs and mappers etc as i want to ask some things but dont want to clutter up Rob's build thread
  17. So jealous of the level of finish on there Hodge. If my tuck has even 10% of the quality of finish yours has I'll be happy.
  18. Pain in th 2 ass. But a good body shop will have the white removed the bonnet re keyed primed and painted in a day or two. Not as bad a job or expensive a job as your probably thinking. Allternatively remove all the white and get the bonnet laquered and youll have a "like new" carbon bonnet
  19. Was that the one.... ive asked you so much questions I forget them easily. Hahab
  20. lube, lube, lube. Always use lube when attempting to penetrate and having trouble. 1st rule in the bedroom and the garage !!!!
  21. My single aristo ran fine with the piping for it disconnected. Paul whiffin did say it might be needed to assist the idle of the car. But mine ran fine without it. Hopefully someone will be along with a definative answer though.
  22. Ibrar will be the man with the best answer. I have seen vw wheels that have cracked being repaired though. The guy drilled a hole at each end if the crack then drilled then milled the cracks out with a milling machine, filled the milled area with weld then sanded that back to match the spoke profile. Looked mint when done
  23. Got no traction control on the aristo. And traction control will remove the throttle's function or back off the power for you momentarily to get traction back. Whats happening to me is the engine just cuts out till the ignition key it turned off and then back on again as if its resetting the ''warning alarms'' on the car and then it fires into life again as if nothing happened.
  24. Good stuff.....I'll sleep better tonight and possibly all day while on shift knowing that your fuel lines will never meet road !! have to admit after seeing LeeP's work on Jay_NW's supra fuel line guard I am considering something similar myself as I'll be running the car lower this year than it was before. Even considering a flat floor in area's to protect the refurbed underside but that might be overkill.
