    Luc drove his last 1000bhp 3.0L non VVTi setup hard for around 30K miles before it’s most recent rebuild update to VVTi and it had held up to it really well I believe. I’m sure Luc or SRD can elaborate more though.....

  3. Been away from the forum for a loooooooooong time, but my SRD build is very nearly finished now, so I will start to update this thread with all that’s gone on with the car over the past few years if people are interested to see it. Got soooooo many photos to add
  4. As per Title, Brembo rear brake kit for sale. This kit is a custom setup which was engineered by another member from on the forum. Kit utilises Brembo calipers from a McLaren Mercedes SLR using custom adapter blocks to mount. Discs are aftermarket 330mm, but do not have bell which allows stock handbrake to be used, so separate Wilwood handbrake calipers are used with all mounting gear needed included. Calipers red coating has been tarnished by brake fluid whilst they have been in storage, so ideally they could do with re-coating before fitting. Selling this rear kit as I have kept the front SLR Brembo setup and gone with a different rear setup for my build. Asking for £300ono. Pics to follow.
  5. As per title, Whifbitz Twin Waste Gate Turbo Kit for sale. Kit comprises the following: Garage Whifbitz stainless steel twin wastegate, twin scroll exhaust "billet" manifold. Spec as follows: T4 turbo flange, 4mm walled stainless steel construction, 321 stainless primaries, 321 stainless collector, triple pass welded and back purged for seamless internal welds, flanges are 12mm thick 321 stainless. 2x Turbosmart Compgate 40mm external wastegates. 4" V band stainless steel downpipe and midpipe. Downpipe comes fitted with O2 bung for wideband sensor. two wastegate exhaust (screamer) pipes Goodridge braided oil feed line, stainless steel oil return hose. 4" polished alloy intake pipe, 4" K&N air filter and K&N idle valve filter 3" Polished alluminium intercooler pipe to connect to the turbo, along with silicons & clamps required. Manifold, downpipe, wastegate bodies and both screamer pipes have also been Zircotec White Ceramic coated at the cost of £1000 to help prevent excessive heat buildup in the engine bay. The kit is completely brand new and unused and only selling due to having changed over to a different setup during build. These kits sell for £3000 on Whifbitz website, so with that in mind and the addition of the Zircotec coating, asking £3500ovno for the kit. Pics to follow.
