  1. No doubt fibre optic BB rocks! I used to be with Telewest and although that was cable I got constant 20mb thoroughput with no traffic shapping whatsoever Those were the days... Virgin is very strict on capping your bandwidth though or so I've heard.
  2. Aye, personally I don't really look at badges I just prefer to enjoy the cars as they are! I got mine below £40k mark though and although its a big amount I think there's a lot of car for the money I think MY12 cars are starting to loose the plot a little bit especially with pricing but what I do I know...
  3. meh... I dont really get car brand snobbery however I do agree the more established marquees are more enjoyable. Black GTR = yummy http://www.cambridgecarcompany.co.uk/photos/19511_l.jpg
  4. Ah beat me to it Pretty sure there's a review on TG. I saw the XKR first hand in Kettering months ago. Looked and sounded amazing! It's a pretty big car tho.
  5. Fingers crossed lol but I am ever the pessimist... http://www.cambridgecarcompany.co.uk/photos/19464_l.jpg
  6. Very close to getting a 59 plate Kuro black GTR /touchwood everything goes ok...
  7. lol that's a tease I am also looking at this one Jurgen but I am not sure about the price for the age/condition. Fired some questions but any comments Jurgen? http://www.cambridgecarcompany.co.uk/stock_item/172/
  8. That styling will never make it into production However I fully endorse a revival of the mighty Supra! Although not too sure about Hybrid engines....
  9. meh when I was flapping around deciding some other person must've put down a deposit on the GTR already lol. Oh well, the search continues
  10. That actually looks sleek. I've seen the newer XKRS and the sound it makes it just amazing!!! I think this is one of those cars where 20" wheels actually suits it.
  11. Saw your thread on IMOC CJ Had a rev3 tubby import myself. Very capable cars but need to treat them with respect
  12. Very tasty bike! Always a gixxer fan
  13. After probing a little bit more apparently it's a hire purchase deal not lease / pcp. I am sure there'll be some hidden charges... As dealer is over 2 hours away one way I will be at a slight disadvantage going down for a face to face chat or asking for better deal... My head got the better of me and I think I will sit it out this time. Apparently a chap from Nottingham goin to view it tomorrow so that's not too bad for dealer I see a TTrs which I can get for much cheaper and over shorter term and that's before any negotiating ... Oh well
  14. Right just did some reality check here and need advise from people who have exp in lease. Basically after px I will be taking out a 20k lease deal over 4 years with the car currently valued at 40k. So after 4years assuming I've paid in full the company will recover the car back ( I've asked about deals but no news yet). So this is assuming the gtr doesn't depreciate below 24k (amount I pay over 4 years) in 4 years time I will be getting a good deal? I just don't want to risk being left with no car in the future if I do take out this lease deal. Edit: good advice about mortgage lol ... Argh decisions decisions

    Netflix

wow didnt know it works on Xbox too but it would be ace if it works on my Sony Bravia internet tv... hmmm edit : Looks like it does lol http://esupport.sony.com/perl/support-info.pl?info_id=526 edit2 : Nah it doesn't My TV supports Lovefilm though but the 5.99 package on that sucks 2 hours or 2 discs...pah
  16. Ah..so there's where my old Supra is now Great to know! Lockie (formatzero) is the person I've bought it from
  17. Nice one mate All this talk about the Cayman S and bar the over 45k models I don't see the appeal? Low powered, small engined and the interior is no better than a mk2 TT and severely lacking any space compared to TT as well? Granted it might be a nimble and capable built chassis but for that compromise I don't see why not to choose the TTRS instead?
  18. Very cool video and the gadgets used were amazing too lol p/s: Poor tyres

  21. Yes I have but isn't that juse RWD? Those who fall in my price range are the older ones with less bhp
  22. omg lol had an email from sales guy said he has a lot of calls since this morning and one guy might be putting a deposit on it tonight I guess my fault for posting about this everywhere on the internet lol oh well

    Netflix

Ahh... I have around 10MB here do (9200kbps down) but youtube stuggles sometimes (does not help when I have a telly with built in Youtube viewer I guess). Haven't really tried anything else and I am tempted to try out Netflix now I have a HTPC setup in my living room...
  24. Meh...it's TTRS not the run of the mill TT It's like saying N/As are proper Supras Joking aside the TTRS prices comes very close to used GTR prices hence the question. Again, not performance orientated but more value orientated.
