  1. On a related note hTC7UNGbKCk embed youtube fail (Fixed your link for you - Gaz)
  2. I think one of the main requirements are stringent servicing and everything is replaced even at slightest wear. Traffic cars also contain gizmos and radios to help them navigate better.
  3. TO be fair marked (or in some cases unmarked) traffic cars are specially prepped for high speed driving (not that I condone it tho!) so that is a different matter. In the news above it seems that its just a normal Golf R straight from the dealership. I wasn't aware of this kind of arrangement between police and dealerships before.
  4. From that picture it looked like it might have rolled too. I understand testing but shouldn't they reserve the higher speed stuff on private tracks? At first I didn't care much but after seeing that picture I am a bit shocked. I know if a civvy does this he will be jailed with a crim record!

    350z forum

You get nasty people in every forums but I have to the mkiv has the least to be honest that's why I stuck around for so long even whilst Supraless. GTROC forums same shizzle as well.
  6. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2092245/Car-Wars-Policeman-Paul-Fletcher-wrecks-40k-supercar-test-drive.html I do realise he is "testing" the car and it is 2am but still it seems this is on public road in what is still a normal car yet to be converted for police use. Should he be charged for dangerous driving like the rest of us if this happens?
  7. AH looks pretty decent in the video lol. You've owned GTR over 3 years now? Wow... I guess the OEM kit doesn't just wire to the sidelights like some kits lol. Proper solenoid and all? Don't know why but I have a LED DRL fetish lol. The DRLs on my Audi was great too bad Nissan didn't incorporate them until MY11+ models.
  8. Omg lol a grand? It fits nice but not that bright compared to the MY11 DRLs built into bumper. Still better than the "angel eyes" mod some people have lol.
  9. Very nice Jurgen The front LED DRLs are Nissan OEM? Heard they cost a fortune but fits nicely!
  10. Totally agree to that Like my car I am giving it a lot of respect that it deserves.
  11. Nothing wrong with an N/A but I did feel the same itch when I got the 330 E46 instead of the M3 It was worse when I was beaten by a diesel Fiat I think was a post here long ago about that too!
  12. Very nice mate! Black's the fastest colour Glad to know you've finally found your ideal car! More pics when possible
  13. MMmmm.... I can only dream of the day I have my own garage Any pics?
  14. Very nice metal there! I thought he was James May at the start. Lotus, BMW 1M And Cayman R battling against some heavyweights there!
  15. only about 550bhp? wow.... sounds like a nice spec Sup quiet-ish exhaust really essential on long trips

    My mr2 project

Soumds great mate! Its nice when you get a very honest seller... unlike mine
  18. Cheers Will definitely be very sensible with this one. Weird emotions right now as it's still a battle of head vs heart! Missed my TTS and I heard from the dealer I've bought GTR from he sold it back to Audi so I guess the demand must be there...
  19. Got the car today and absolutely smitten! New rear tyres + rain = Taking it easy though. Just one small issue about the Tyre Presure Monitoring System so I might need to get this sorted at Nissan. The dealer changed the tyres at another garage and the TPMS doesn't like this @Rob : I've paid around £39000 for it which is not bad considering the car is just serviced, bell housing sorted and 2 new rear Dunlops ... oh also got a free Road Angel thrown in as it was hard wired to car lol. A few positive and negative comments so far : Positive: - Awesome power! - The noise...even on stock exhaust is just amazing. - The looks. Kuro Black is just amazing - The economy. Driven sensibly I got nearly 28mpg on the motorway which is not too shabby. I could hit 30 but that was just too boring Around town it hovers around 18mpg though. - The gadgets - for a geek like me its just awesome! Touchscreen Nav/display,HDD music system,DVD player, and amazing custom screens showing boost, oil temps, G force etc etc... - Boot space - decent bootspace means I can actually use it for the random shopping trips Negative: - The interior is not as refined as my TTS but that's to be expected A few rattles but I will try to sort it - BOSE system not as good as the one in my TTS but then again most of the time I just switch everything off and listen to the engine! - Servicing - even though its just serviced last month the next expected service is in May or around 3800 miles but I guess you would expect that for a car like this. I will have to hunt around for decent indies
  20. I've heard the 335i is highly tuneable. BMW kept the numbers down to give the M3 some leverage
  21. I wish I can get fibre where I am Shame new built houses don't come with that as standard!
