Hi guys, I've got two seats which i've taken out of my Supra for sale as i've switched to a pair of Recaros. Both seats are worn and a little dirty and need a good clean. The bucket seat is in better condition than the Bride with general wear, I'd give it a 6/10 for condition. The Bride has kept its shape but again, is dirty and has a few rips, two very small and one more sizeable but would be perfect for a retrim this one is 4/10 for condition. No idea what to price at so I've put prices according to what ebay seems to have equivalents for. Collection only as they're to big to post - i'm located between Essex and London. Pics below... Blue Seat - £100 Purple Bride - £200 Also, if anyone needs/wants i have a pair of rails from a Renault Megane Sport r26 to get rid off too - let me know if you're interested and i can put pics of these up also. Thanks, Umar

Thanks for all the comments guys, I did toy with the idea of cutting the rails but I thought this way I could get away with it but I may need to revisit and cut it anyway as I think the drivers side front cross bar is touching the seat slide release handle. I had a go at carbon wrapping the spoiler blade last night... It was NOT easy! The top turned out perfect but the rear was full of wrinkles. I've left it on like that for now while I find a real CF blade for it. Also, I refitted the handbrake and gear gaiters so they're on properly now. They're the same suede as the seats - sorry for bad pics, the flash makes the suede look funny. [/img] The handbrake handle needs changing and the gear reverse lift assembly needs tidying. Does anyone know if /how the reverse lift comes off? Today, I'm hoping to take off one of the door cards and see how much clearance I have to put some decent speakers in. I'm hoping to drop some Focal K2's in an active front end. If there is enough space I'll go with some tight 8inch subs in the rear quarters but I doubt it'll have the volume. Finally, dynamat EVERYWHERE!

Still on the search for a stock hood. Give me a shout if anyone has one please.

I can second that; they look absolutely great! I got handbrake and gear stick gaiters in the same suede which reminds me, i need to fit the handbrake gaiter properly as it wasnt on right before!! Cheers for the advice Jay!

So my first task was to fix the mismatched seats that came with the car. I had a very productive day getting the seats in yesterday - what started out as just a discovery exercise to see what I'd need to achieve this turned into just getting the damn things in as the Blue bucket was killing my sides as I'm much too big for it. This is my first write up to document the process so go easy on me and any feedback would be great! The original seats... ...and i picked up a pair of Recaro's from a Renault Megane Sport R26 which were the Trendlines I believe... First things first I took the stock Megane rails off the Recaro's and got the Bride rails off the seats that came in the Supra. After offering up the rails to the Recaro's, as Jay said (thanks for the heads up) the base of the seat has a bit of a bulge so I got some metal inserts which I stacked up to provide the rails enough clearance to be able to slide... Here's the rails offered up to the base of the seat... So after putting in a little more thank 1 inch of inserts to provide the clearance I needed. I used three inserts of solid steel so hopefully they'll be rock solid - i also had to go grab some longer bolts to make sure they reached through into the bolt with the added clearance. Here's the rails fitted... and finally... here's the first seat back in the car looking perfectly at home to make sure everything fitted and slid smoothly without any issues. And now both where they belong... I was a little worried about safety with the added clearance so I used high tensile steel bolts to give added strength and they're in completely solid but still a little unsure as I don't want them breaking or anything but i'll check everything after a week to make sure all is well.

So after taking receipt of my dream Supra imported from Japan by the guys at JM Imports, I've started to tweak to make it exactly how I want its. For those of you who haven't seen my "New Member" thread you can see the details here. I wanted to document all the little bits i'm going to be doing over the next few months and years so thought I'd start a build thread. To begin with the changes will be mostly cosmetic and audio related while I make up my mind on whether i want to take the plunge and go single. I'll swing back and add some more information on plans and idea's - advice on how best to approach things and idea's for future mods are appreciated! Quick few pics of the car as I got it from JM... Hope you like it and I'm looking forward to getting stuck in and sharing experiences with everyone on the forum. Lets get ready to rumble!!

OOOOOooooooh - oops, i misunderstood what you meant! Ok, I get you; i'm learning! Hopefully, i can get the bucket out on sunday and see how it all goes together and see what I need to get it to fit. Cheers for all the advice! It's literally not even been a day before I started taking her apart! I just need to be careful not to break anything!

Doh!! Nothing can ever be easy can it! Thanks for pointing that out Jay. Out of interest, you mention that the drivers side is side fixed (i did notice that too); how do you bolt the rail to the floor if its currently side fixed? Are there spare holes on the floor also? I just trawled your build thread and i have to say the seats look amazing in the supra! I saw the crossbar you had to grind out which isn't a problem but i couldn't see how you mounted the new rails to the floor

Luckily both seats were fitted to bride rails so from the sounds of it, should be a simple one! Any idea what i could get for the bride and bucket? (pics below)

Forgot to add... I also just picked up a pair of Recaro's from a Renault Megane R26 in mint condition to swap out the mismatched seats that are in the car currently. Hopefully these wont be a PITA to fit! Any tips on getting these in, please let me know!!

So... the day finally came! On Thursday, after the scariest flight of my life on a plane with a propeller to Newcastle (yes, they still fly planes with propellers) I landed in import heaven at JM Imports to collect my Supra! Enough talking... PICTURES!! ...And finally... as I walked out of the house on my way to the station to go to work I just had to take another pic of her at home.

for sale Oneplus 2 Phone, Brand New, Sealed, UK Version. Very Rare!
Loomie posted a topic in Other Items
Hi all, I got an early invite to buy the brand new Oneplus 2 phone and pulled the trigger but it turns out the person I bought it for doesnt actually want a new phone. Anyway, I have it now, its the 64gb version and is a genuine UK product and not the imported chinese model that has problems on certain networks. I also have the kevlar rear case for this also brand new sealed. The phone is very sought after at the moment due to their system of needing and invite to buy the phone. For those that are into their phones the'll know that this is one of the best phone in terms of "bang for buck". Its completely sealed, not even powered on and if needed i have the reciept/invoice/proof of purchase etc too. I haven't put any photo's up but if anyone is interested let me know and i can upload some. I'm looking for about £420 (+ P&P) for this. Any takers/interest let me know. For full specs etc - https://oneplus.net/uk/2 -
Nice car mate - loving it!

Thanks Kitch79, I did see that one - I would have had it if it was a plug and play but with the work required to fix I'd probably prefer to fabricate one myself. I'm surprised the plug and play ones are so rare - they're not so hard to find in thr states for a LHD strangely.
-
Thanks mate. I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her pic. I tried to play hard to get with Aarin at JM but just wanted her so bad! (Beginning to sound a little awkward, haha)
-
Thanks! I'm itching to get started, got new gaiters, gear knob, handbrake handle, head unit, cf 9g wrap for the blade and and on the hunt for wheels. I wanted something deep dish with a concave; so far I'm liking the rohanna rc10 but I don't think they're available in an 18 and I'm not sure if the 19 would fit as it is. Any ideas anyone?

I must say, waiting for my Supra to be registered and get my hands on her is probably the toughest thing I've ever done! The anticipation is killing me. To combat, I've already started stock piling bits to begin her transformation!!
