I think it has been early facelift with non-vvti engine and V160 gearbox.

That shell is in really good shape underneath. I think it would be best to try to locate all the stock supra side plastics and full front bumper & rear spoiler and return it back to stock. Another option would be find some nice quality aftermarket body parts and assembly the body with those parts. It would need time, money and the place to store the shell, as does full rebuilt if you decide to return it back to it`s former glory. But it is a good and very clean looking shell.

Hey, I remember that Supra! Was it back 2001 or 2002 when it was in Japanese Performance Magazine? Was the former owner named Phil Dawson? The car was a black UK Spec auto (with ivory leather seats) with HKS Twin Turbo Kit? It was a really nice car! I might still have that magazine somewhere.. (Damn I`m old.. )

It is a fire blanket and it does work as a sound & heat insulator too. I took mine off a 10 years ago as it damaged during the removal, no paint or any other damages occured yet. However, I bought a new one but I have not installed it yet.

^ Yes, it is the differential ratio which causes the difference in speedo readout. The gearbox speed sensor ratio does not match the differential ratio. The yellow box would be the simplest plug and play solution for this.

Which diff you got? If you have the Euro/UK/Jdm 6-speed diff, your speedo readout would be correct. Lau, I don`t think your roof moulding has been fitted correctly as there should be gab between the roof and the moulding, but the gab should not be as big as your picture shows. The correct fitment of the roof moulding should be as it is in the Ric`s picture.

I`m after the 6speed pre-facelift propeller shaft for the big case B-series differential. Must be in VGC one. I`m living in northern part of Finland, so seller must be able to pack the propeller shaft nicely and send it to my location. Please contact me via PM. Thank you!
