  1. Hi all, I am currently awaiting the SVA of a Supra import but am wondering about the rear fog light, my customer ( a MKIV member ) has asked for it to be put in the rear bumper by the number plate which is fine and what i would do anyway, but i would rather convert the rear lights for him as i feel the rear mounted foglight does spoil the back of the Supe. Anyone got any ideas or has done this themselves? Cheers in advance Ad.
  2. On a similar note to steering, my car has become very sensitive and pulls me all over the shop when driving. Its only happened since i had the new rear tyres put on..... could putting new tyres on bugger up my wheel alignment or could the garage have maybe somehow stupidly damaged one of my wheels? Although it feels like the front is pulling me, or could it be the rear wheels making the front pull left or right? Cheers Ad.
  3. Hi guys, Well i replaced the key fob battery and hey presto!!!!! my alarm is working again. Just aswell as i had to do my brake pads today. My rear caliper pins were knackered and i had to fix em as they were bent at the end. But back to good breaking again. Happy Crimbo and new year. Ad.
  4. I have the same problem, its the auxillary belt and it pre tensions so if it is squeeking i would suggest replacing it, i have lubricated mine to try to stop the squeeking but its only temporary. Cheers Ad.
  5. Cheers Andrew, Got it open with minimal bleeding from my hand funny little battery aint it, now to go and see if anywhere has got one or is even open. Ad.
  6. Locked my car and now it wont open???? The light on the keyfob is still coming on but the battery might be on its way out, unfortunately i cant get the bloody key fob open to replace the battery, and the manual doesn't tell me how to do it either. Anyone got any ideas as i dont really want to break it and have to buy a new alarm. Cheers And a happy christmas Adam. Oh and does any other poor sucker have to work tomorrow?
  7. That is a shed load of info. Cheers m8 never knew it was there. Ad.
  8. Piran i am gob smacked, having met you i know you're not the wheel screeching type:D i got 7,000 out of my old Kumhos and would definately complain to the garage and Goodyear as there's got to be something wrong with the tyres. Ad.
  9. I believe it could be a GT4 spoiler, JIC had a black Supe with a smaller spoiler on and we decided it was a Celica GT4 spoiler.
  10. Rich, I have just done a full oil change with Mobil 1 15w50 as i have been told by a lot of people how good it is. Just remember to warm it up nicely Ad.
  11. I've been doing a little research into the 15w50 oil, and i have found a lot of people actually use this oil as it protects better at high temperatures, although it takes a little longer to warm up. A lot of skyline and scoob owners are using it and with good results, your feelings on this would be apreciated. Ad.
  12. I was wondering why nobody uses Mobil 1 oil? 15w 50. Cheers Adam.
  13. Supra SZ-R is the version ur thinking about, about 8k depending on condition i reckon. But from 1996 they get a 6 speed gearbox.
  14. I had it on all summer, the airflow sensor/meter did not move place either, i got it from race logic myself 6 months ago. Send me a pm if interested. L reg must be a 94 then. Cheers Ad.
  15. Hi Fran, I had one on my car and i got it to fit ok( i have one for sale to ), you say you have a 93 UK TT, i thought that were only made 94-96?. Cheers Ad.

  19. The funny thing is that crashed repaired cars in Japan are very cheap, and they've already been repaired so the jobs done for you. And crashed non repaired cars are even cheaper.
  20. I leave it in on straight roads and depress it ( to drop me to third ) for a little extra boost to get me above the 4,000 revs mark and turbo 2. I must admit i do use it a lot but i tend not to use first or second manually very often. So ur gonna be button switching man for ever and ever! Just like me
  21. Do u think that would apply to UK to, or are they adapted to 95ron use?
  22. Ah JSP motors is the name of the garage? U see i live 15-20 mins away so i will look it up. Cheers Adam.
  23. Come on whats Leons number? I've looked in the phone book under Leons Garage but its not there, lol:p
  24. I took my car to Toyota not so long ago, they lubed up the belt to see if it helped at all. They told me the belt is self tensioning and would only squeek if it needed replacing.
