  1. Well I'm hoping that once I don't need her as my daily then I can afford to take my time with things. It may mean that for some meets I'll be in a focus/mondeo/passat etc. can't wait to get mine serviced this year. Might even get the engine out and have good nosey to see what's what.
  2. Was feeling a bit down about the current state of my supra. The heater is being random was only blowing cold air (I have a thread running about it lol). There are other small bits that need doing that I dont have the time for, and plus the fact I'm looking at getting it stored away during the spring as it wont be used due to me commuting a fair bit. PLus not being able to move it for the last few weeks as it has been snowed in. It was getting a bit glum in my opinion. Having a bit of a thaw over the last day I thought I'd take the supe out for a run to look at a 2nd car. The supra is minging, the dirtiest I've ever had it. But as soon as I was 30 seconds out of my drive the love was back and I wondered why I ever felt so down about it! Was out for about an hour or so and have never enjoyed such a humdrum journey in such an awesome car. Just thought I'd share the love! :)
  3. Nice one delboy! I was wondering what would happen with my NCB too. H my last renewal was £450 but have been quoted £350 for my next renewal which is pretty good to be honest. What company are you going through for classic, as I have gone down this route and got a "no" due to the fact the car is an import
  4. Thought you could, I was told this by the "experts" at work! But thought I'd bring it to the wiser individuals on here
  5. Might be a bit of a noddy question, but..... I'm looking to buy a second car to munch the miles in and keep my supra as a weekend or even summer car for a bit of fun. Am I able to have two car insurance policies in my name, have thought about a multicar policy, but would like to spread the insurance cost through out the year and don't want to pay for it on a monthly basis. The reason why I ask is the fact that that some people say you cant have two seperate policies in your name and some day you can. Or if any of you have any further suggestions I would be more than happy to hear them Thanks guys and girls.
  6. Whoa! glad you are okay mate. How did it happen?
  7. Hi Dave, checked this morning and I dont have a wet floor on the passenger side, so I'd assume I've got an airlock. How do I get rid of it?
  8. I'm treating the wife to a lovely trip out.......to the hospital so I can have some surgery on my shoulder lol!! And they say romance is dead!

  14. I've sent him a PM asking whether he wants to buy some pep pills for his exams lol
  15. Hi Stevie. yeah the connecting rod is performing as it should and the cooland temp needle goes to temp. As the rod moves to close the flap when cold air is selected it makes like a double clicking noise, for about a second or so. Not too sure if that is normal but when the weather improves I might get the central dash panel out and have a good look.
  16. Been out to brave the cold to see if this was the fault but no...... The silver rod is connected how it should be! Not a happy bunny today
  17. check me ahhhhht blud!!! me n me sax is well fast innit!!
  18. I laughed a little bit too, but chuck norris rat vs 12 bore shotgun would be a fun video to watch next lol ( I dont condone violence towards animals btw)
