  1. Monuments Men... I thought this was quite good, watched it last night. The characters are well cast and the film makes you root for them. Bill Murray is particularly good in this although he has one of the smaller roles out of the cast. The film really pulls you in with the thought that it will be a war/comedy (weird to describe) type of film then as it develops the horrors of war set in and you can see how the characters react to what is in essence a mission regarded as one of pure futility. I would highly recommend this film. Lone Survivor... This was another one I watched this week. A lot of people saying that this is a pro war film only fit for US propaganda. It does come across initially as very gung ho/hooah type of film. The film centres on a 4 man US Navy SEAL recon team carrying out a pre raid observation mission. I won't give away the rest of the story, but it had me on the edge of my seat. The film has some truly jaw dropping set pieces and moments of tension. It then becomes less of an action film and more a film depicting human nature both good and bad. Was an enjoyable watch, even the missus enjoyed this one. 2 films well worth a watch.
  2. Just thought I'd pop my "head" in here again. Still supra-less, but I thought I'd say hello as I haven't been on in a while. Still living in Norfolk but working in London during the week and commuting back to swampy-land during the weekend in my trusty Mondeo ST-TDCI. I massively regret selling the Supra 2 years ago, should have just stored it and kept it, ah well I suppose everything is better with 20-20 hindsight. Hope everyone is well and enjoying their cars! Laters Staples/Chris Moyles (JAE nickname!)
  3. Just caught up on this thread, it's coming along quite nicely Josh! Don't lose the love for it as it will get there at some point. Threads like these really make me want to go out and buy a supra right now (funds won't allow at the moment!). Keep up the good work mate.
  4. Just caught up on this....Hilarious, join a forum to berate the owner of a car you raced. Good plan! Hairdressing business running a bit slow in East Yorkshire then?
  5. That is one nice looking project you have got going there, keep up the good work. I also like a nice clean garage floor
  6. Please pass me the acid I don't want to see any more.....
  7. Hi and welcome to the club! Good place and good club members. Jurgen is who I will eventually be turning to when the time comes for my next supra purchase.
  8. I love the look of the 3 team beard machines! Looks like a lot of hard work/doodling on ailsa's mx5.
  9. Well I won't say no to that buddy!
  10. I would be up for this, obviously no supra but my mondeo st (diseasel) will have to be parked away from you guys like a dirty leper! Can only make weekends though as I work in London during the week. Can't do the bluewater meet as it's a fair old trek from work. Need to get back into meeting faces and seeing some lovely supras!
