  1. Hello all. Following from the 13th of may after hitting a post destroying my back wing and getting a £60 quote for a repeater from toyota. I finaly have the beast back repaired. Got a repeater from Jurgen at a very good price (Thanks your a top man). Here are the before and after pics. All work done at a local garage to me. I think they did a good job what do you think?
  2. If Japanese cars maybe, top 3/4s of the Japanese flag or rising sun as background, with EAST OF ESSEX CUSTOM AND MODS .Essex is very in at the mo. Or if your more euro and states maybe- POWERPLAY CUSTOMS AND MODS.
  3. Repeater on the way, thanks to Jurgen. Will post some pics when she is fixed up. gotta love MKIV OWNERS CLUB all the help and knowledge you need in one place.
  4. hello Jurgen thanks for the reply. would it be ok to take the passenger side and if so whats the price on that. thanks sent pm.
  5. Well I smacked into a post. £300 worth of damage cars going into the garage on Wednesday. And to top it off the main Toyota dealer can only sell me one rear repeater for £60.00. All i need is the lense for the passenger side as the unit is not damaged. tried to find a repeater on the net and all i see are clear ones. if anyone could point me towards a 1999 facelift repeater for the passenger side i would be truly grateful. will post the after pics when shes fixed.
  6. I have had my supra for just over a 18 months. started with the n/a and i love it, I do not understand why everyone is n/a bashing. mine is fast enough to fend for itself against most cars. When you have to drive a TT or FQ 300 to beat it i dont think thats a bad thing as an FQ 300 will beat most cars. This is a supra forum and you should be able to post without getting your car put down. Dont get me wrong I will move up to TT later and i understand the quest for power that comes with it. But i got the n/a first to see if I could live with the everyday drive. I have had people driving Db9,s , scoobies , and other supra owners TT or not, say that they like the car nice to see them in stock, only cosmetic changes momo, carbon dash, wheels and so on. And im proud of my car. /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_grin.gif when the time comes to upgrade to TT i can go for a new car or slot in a TT engine with all the upgrades needed to fit. as i know the body is in good condition. Back to the thread, I always seem to get the youth dem, in saxos and civics with half of halfrauds stuck to them trying to chase me. or make a brrrrraattt sound when they meet me at the lights. this when used with a hand in the shape of a gun means nice car. first time it happened in peckham, dont know what was quicker, me pulling away or the finger on the door lock.
  7. Its stupid oclock and im finishing a night shift, Illumanati -Illimanati whatever. well spotted for this time of the morning though.
  8. I read a book written by 2 students called the illuminati. Goes into the dollar bill and society's. Jazz has a point, there is evidence of the illuminati since records began. They say the masons are a spin off from the original Bavarian illuminati. There are links to the dark god Karli and a counter group within the illuminati who believe in a sect called the golden apple. I don't know what's true or not but one thing I do know is you don't want to read that book. It's got too much undeniable fact mixed in with some head twisting logic. And if you start to follow the information you get from it it will scare the crap out of you! [sHOCK][/sHOCK]
  9. meeting the boys in sidcup in the afternoon so i will be there. gonna pick your brains about were to put my hid ballists
  10. i had some electrical work done there and the service was top shelf. he even got me a set of radio brackets from a car he was breaking. dont know were mine went must still be in japan. we have had fuel and vat raised this month and all are adjusting prices when it comes to delivery charges. he may of made a mistake which he told you about so fair enough. as you can see by the posts paul whiffen is a respected trader, as was suggested by paul in the above post try your own courier. but if you dont have a business account with large overseas orders your not going to get much cheaper.
  11. the fact that you have a selection of shaved monkey pics worries me nic. but your not far off. lol
  12. Hello Stu, i got led plug and play from this company for the JZA80 no extras needed. ask if he still has these through the ask a question section. some complain about the windscreen glare off hid dashes. as i say i have led and find them realy nice and light blue, more white. 5 times as bright as original bulbs. i have the electrical skills of a shaved chimp and got mine fitted in around 35 mins. whole dash must come off and work one section at a time. dash, console. dash takes around 10 to 12 bulbs all just pull out and slot new ones in. the clock takes 2 big bulbs one top one bottom. when you take the dials out you can change all bulbs without opening the unit just twist and pull. once you get them in you will have 2 big bulbs left for the rear plate. and 2 big bulbs for the running lights. i have hid main and fog on a 1999 facelift N/A and the bulbs you get give around the same power and match up well. sorry for going on a bit but this is the first topic i actually iknow something about.
  13. Dave to frank, "horse and stable door thats all im saying, clearing the runway for the tow truck to drag that back out of terminal 3 reception is imho too little too late."
  14. UPDATE..... tested the battery which was fine. but the terminals had worked loose. not falling off just loose and i had to put a screw in between each clamp to make them tight. my battery strut had come loose and the battery moved around while driving. turns out that this made the electrics go mental when i fired her up. something to do with the power not bieng constant. now she starts first time every time. no power loss on ignition i guess the battery didnt charge fully with the loose cables. so worth checking if you have a click on ignition, wont start and power loss. sometimes its a simple fix.
  15. i remember getting my first car vw jetta 1.3 red. a real bucket of poo but i thought it was the mutts nuts and knowing no better raided halfords for the cosmetic touches. wheel hubs, new mats, and the biggest screw on exhaust extention available. driving around welling with a stereo that cost more than the car giving it large. i pulled into a garage filled up and was just pulling off when a bloke walked over knocked on the window and asked if i had a sports exhaust fitted to my car to which i replied yeah stainless steel mate 8 inch. he then smiled put his hand through the window and dropped the exhaust extention on my lap. damm those loose screws. one day i want to have a moment when i give that smile.

  18. hi, i just changed the dis cap, brush, irid spark plugs and leads. and she runs like silk. but when i start the engine on maybe 3 out of 5 times it just clicks once and all power is lost. no lights no radio nothing. then if i slam the drivers door the indicators flash once and the power comes back on. but when i turn the key it just makes the same click and the power goes again. it does this maybe 4 times then starts. once started it can be turned off and on with no problems. seems if i dont start the engine for around 3 hours the click comes back and the same problem as listed above. its doing my head in. going to the garage for some upgrades on the lights all round this month and for once i would like to tell the mad scientist what the problem is before he laughs at me and plugs in a loose connection. 1999 facelift n/a
  19. i got one of those, puts a wicked shine on after a wax

  22. kwikfit sell a £20 engine cleaner it comes in a can with a ringpull cant remember the name but you need 80 to 95 litres of petrol to run it. really strong stuff used to clean and bring down immisions. i used it over a tank and a half felt the effects after 40 to 50 miles. red ex only cleans fuel injectors and they get dirty again without the engine clean;)
  23. hi ya nasoup, gonna put some sticky traps near the drains and were i saw them run to before. might put poison on a tray in the bay for a while. wont attract them but if they come back the least i can do is provide nibbles:innocent:
