  3. Hi all Fitted a Positive charging System yesterday then had a run from Folkestone to London. Got to say really noticed the difference. Have heard mixed reviews about these but it works for me. She drove fine before but now its just better. more responsive, a lot smoother, Lights are brighter inside and out. ( HD dashboard and Hid fogs and main with Led day running lights.) Its the TRD system very pleased with it. will stick a shot up later, all singing all dancing S4 wont let me attach one. Bye for now.
  4. I like it I like it a lot The attention to detail is very impressive. Bet you breathe in going through width restrictions. Ive got carbon all over my interior and it seems like everyone has. Nice to see something different.
  5. I was there last night around 9 but no one was There . There were around 12 supras but no peeps. Did go down to nandos but it was packed and I don't know what you lot look like. Which is probably a good thing anyway will try again next month around 8. See ya.
  6. I thank you, your a gentleman and a scholar. No matter what anyone says.
  7. Hello people ill come along with the other half. which car park is it? i did come down before but it was ages ago.
  8. I remember picking up mine at ten thirty at night on a very dark september. Had to get the speedometer changed to mph and some other bits i wanted after the import. The showroom who imported her for me closed at six and the work wasnt finished. So one of the guys picked her up for me and i drove down in the old car for px to his house. I will always remember the first time i saw my supra at night lit up by the street lights. looked bad ass and very shiny. So jumped in started her up and drove 70 miles home with the biggest ear bending grin on my face. she did try and kill me twice, once when i pulled onto the motorway from a slip road and burned out in second. Ass end making s shapes for 20 foot. Not ready for the power after my old car, fiats dont try and kill you. And the second time was out of shock at the feeling of 70 on the motorway but the reality of looking at the dash and seeing treble digits showing on the speedo. needless to say i adjusted my speed immediately in accordance to the law and felt terrible for the aforementioned infringement.
  9. I'm definitely going to be present when the wheels go back on this time. just hope it didn't effect anything else.
  10. did have a quick look nothing noticeable, shes going in on January for the once-over all over. Will point this out to them when shes up though thanks.
  11. Hello all, As the title says, had a flat, (2inch screw through the rear off side Tyre). Only a £10 repair so not too bad. when putting the wheel back on i had no purchase on the wheel nut, just spinning. managed to get 3 on and went to the garage the next day, (today). Got the usual sharp intake of breath followed by the long exhale, with a slight shake of the head that any mechanic worth his salt learns early on. But for a change the problem was obvious. someone had put the wheel nuts back on using the pneumatic wrench and not tightened them by hand first. Two of the bolts had no thread for the first inch and the thread-less part was a lot thinner than the rest of the bolt. its lucky the wheel didnt come off before, with the potholes and mountains disguised as speed bumps around my area. Ended up ordering 5 new bolts for Thursday, looking at £130 fitted as im using Toyota for this. got plans for Friday, and i don't know if the garage that fitted the discs, breaks and all did the damage. Truth be told it may have been like it for ages and there are a lot of suspects. New whels, calipers and other bits that involve the removal of the wheel. So i guess the moral is. Check your nuts after visiting the garage. not all mechanics are gentle with them.
  12. I had the same thing stuttering especially from second gear.Loss of power when pulling away but fine when in third and above. It was my HT leads that caused the problem replaced them and all was fine.
  13. I got some custom brackets from Lee P (club member). They were a perfect fit in place of the original speaker brackets and screw into the holes left when you take the box out. They take a 6.5 speaker perfectly. Got some Civic type R speakers 6.5 in now very clear and only loud when you turn them up. Should still be able to order them from Lee P i am happy with mine.
  14. Went to Bluewater monthly meet yesterday. Some nice supras and very nice people will definitely make it a regular thing now i know how to get there. Got some good info about my supe and where to source the TT engine transplant for my n/a when the time comes. Anyway thanks to all for making me and my mate feel welcome catch you all later. D.
  15. Nice one that saves me arguing with Toyota about the size i need. should of guest they were upgraded, the man in Japan did upgrade everything else. HKS suspension full tints with about 7 brand names embossed in the tint and i keep finding upgraded bits all over. As i have no idea what comes standard on this model I thought the guy who imported her for me was blagging about the amount of work done on her looks like i got a good deal. Thanks for the info. Next meet i go to going to get someone to take a look and see whats been done.
  16. Hi Num They should be J/Spec as i have left them alone since i had her imported. its a 1999 facelift n/a with the 17" brake package bigger discs than the 307mm around 323 or 324. but then again i know little about this and only ordered from the specs i found online. but the discs fit from the J/Spec. will look into having the other side looked at when i fix this. thanks for the advice.
  17. Hello all, Just had new discs and pads all round, but the caliper wont release enough to fit the front off side disc. so please anyone who can supply a 4 pot front caliper in good working order will be helping me out massively. Thanks;) update: got this sorted now new discs on and looking good.
  18. Just hit 56K engines just warming up.
  19. HI Dnk, Yeah i make you right been looking all day got £8 cheaper grooved and drilled. Decided to go with Toyota originals ordered them now for all round. thanks for answering see ya.
  20. HELLO ALL, Trying to buy new discs all round for the 17" brake set up, 4 pot fronts 323mm and 2pot rear 324mm for my 1999 facelift n/a. I have found some but they are all 16" sizes. i know i can get them from Toyota but thought i would pick your brains and see if anyone had a cheaper source. I have looked in the for sale section here and cant see the correct size, so any suggestions as to where to order them at a nice price would be appreciated. thanks.

  22. The best DVD has to be LEON. If you have not seen it your missing out.
  23. Hi Alex, If you have enough juice to get to Halfords and back they do a free diagnostic on your battery. With the holding, start up and running power. My brace came off and the car kept cutting out turns out the brace must of been lose for ages and the battery kept moving so the charge depleted over time. didnt notice until it started cutting out. tightened the connectors and brace and it recharged after a few miles.
  24. I have no idea. Im getting my brakes changed all dics and pads there next month i will ask him and let you know.
