  1. Found it...read the forth paragraph re NA's..just don't know if this has changed at all. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?214650-MOT-questions-and-queries-answered...&highlight=mot+questions
  2. Pretty sure I've read about this somewhere in an MOT thread by someone. I'll see if I can find it. Think the thread mentioned that the NA isn't on the MOT computer and so can't be failed on emissions???
  3. Had a look over the various threads and most of the cleaning ones concentrate on the body work and rims. Apologies if I've missed an engine bay cleaning thread but what does everyone use to get the hoses, plastics and wires all de greased and shiny? I currently use Selden K040 Silicone Maintenance spray (specifically for renovation and release) and it's great - also electrical friendly. It's for professional use tho' and so is hard to get hold of - a friend gets hold of it for me every so often. I've run out so looking at alternatives that are hopefully as good but easy to order. Looking around there's loads to choose from so are there any favored by any of you?
  4. Spot on, many thanks...god it looks goooood.
  5. Can you please let me know who has one soI can view a picture of their Supra in their garage. Saw one in the random picture section of the forum the other day and it looked really good to see a Supra same colour as mine but with the scoop...just didn't make a note of who's it was so I could look at it again!!

    Im Back!

    Welcome back to the fold.
  7. Yep, with the conversion. You either need to wire it up as per the thread I copied above or try the alternative...marker pen or remove bulb!!
  8. Just a thought but I have a 'Reward Bank Account' with Santander which for £10 per month gives me Green Flag home start where they cover at home and tow to where ever if they cant fix at the road side, as well as Travel Insurance, Keys covered for loss and Credit cards covered too plus some other things. May be worth seeing if your bank does a similar thing and if it is worth it to you with what they can offer for quite a reasonable amount every month. May also be a great way of getting around those inevitable annual renewal issues? Just wish it included car insurance too!!
  9. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?80479-Fog-Light-Conversions-for-beginners If you have a j-spec like me then it's possibly the rear fog light conversion that hasn't been done correctly. The above post will help. I have the same issue, it's either a dodgy relay or simply that the conversion isn't the best and the car simply thinks theres an issue because of the extra circuit.
  10. Thats good advice too Paul, I used 3G watchdog...you simply set what your monthly allowance is and can check at any time. If you out your bill cycle date into it it re sets every month and counts up those megabytes as you go along and a handy green/red indicator, a bit like the battery symbol is also put on your front screen in the top left hand corner so you can keep your eye on it.
  11. Having read more of your post Paul, especially about your usage I think you will be fine so don't worry. First thing to do is just make sure you turn off any automatic updates you don't really need that will eb away on your battery. So things like the weather updating every 5 minutes or something. Go into the Android market and download an appkiller too, that way you can easily see whats currently running in the background and turn it off if you don't need it. Like I said, I was very close to getting this phone, it is very very good, but I would use it more than you and so battery life was one of my key considerations. You will love it!
  12. Paul, just be very wary about the battery life on the HD. The 4.3" screen eats the battery life and HTC have put a smaller battery inside it (1250ma's I think) than what was in the original Desire...yeah, go figure. If you go out and start taking some pics and vids you'll be out of juice by lunch time. I'll be honest and say this was the phone I was going to upgrade to having had the HTC Hero but the battery life potential issue was a show stopper for me. That and I have small hands so the HD felt like a bloody brick, just way too big and it never felt comfortable in the hand.
  13. Already have, always my first port of call is keron, but as he's fresh out of 'em I thought I'd try this avenue as well. Thanks for the advise tho'
  14. GOT ONE FROM BIGNUM SO THANKS FOR ALL YOUR REPLIES AND PM'S - NO LONGER WANTED! Anyone got one in very good condition? It's the three spoke one I'm after that doesn't have the airbag. There were a few for sale some weeks back but seem to have been sold or removed from sale. If you have send me some pics. Cheers Andy
