  1. I think there is a guide on here about flushing the system. There is also a decent guide with a list of all the various recommended fluids for the supra which is well worth a read. I would link them but I'm on my phone.
  2. Colour isn't really an issue so long as you flush the old stuff out properly. If it were me I would just get a couple of 5 litre bottles of the halfords pre mixed. It's pink in colour and is safe to use on supras [emoji4]
  3. It says on the whifbitz site that the Quark is leather. I used to have the Jet which is a nice feel and also has the carbon inserts which look nice. I think the MOD 07 or 78 would suit yours well
  4. I think a steering wheel with a similar look to your dash trim would go nicely. Have you got any steering wheels in mind?
  5. Looks much better with the black carpet. I liked your old seats better though, not really a fan of multi coloured oem recaros.
  6. Will give those a look thanks
  7. I wasn't going to ask chris. Honest [emoji57]
  8. 180 miles from my house to the port
  9. One of those recovery style trucks would be ideal. Might have a look into that if anywhere hires them. Have had a look at trailers but would need a car with tow hook too which I don't have so would need to hire separately
  10. Yeah I did think about doing that but I'm guessing the admin fee would be quite steep. Will probably have a look into that though as it could be the best option
  11. In case it wasn't clear, the car is located in the UK. I have also done a search on here but nothing up to date available
  12. Ok so here is my story: I'm working and living in Cyprus and have finally been able to book my car onto a ship in July to come over. The car is currently sorn'd but was wondering if it is possible to get temp insurance to enable me to drive the car to the port? The car is a jspec which seems to make it very difficult for some reason. I have until July so not in a major rush to sort anything. Any suggestions much appreciated [emoji4]
  13. Would think its up to the job then [emoji5]️
  14. Both of those sound like the sort of thing I was thinking about. Going to do a bit of research into how much work and cost is involved. Would be interesting to know what model the 7 speed Lexus box came from and how much power/torque it could handle. Do you know how many gears the TH400 has mellonman?
  15. Would a sequential box add more gears? Would be interesting to know a rough idea on cost too as a 6 speed manual box is not exactly cheap these days
  16. No doubt there would be probably big costs involved for the full project but just interested to know how straight forward it would actually be. I know boostlogic and titan do uprated auto boxes but I think that's just using the existing box but with better parts to make them stronger.
  17. Not sure if this is a daft question but was on my mind. Apart from the 4 speed auto box are there any other auto boxes that are compatible? If not is it possible to make a different one fit? For example would it be possible to fit a 6 or 7 speed box from a similar powered car?
  18. Do toyota still have them in stock? If so any idea on price? They look like they blend in a lot better than most other cars you see with them on.
  19. Was it only the uk spec models that had these?
  20. Doesn't sound too bad then. I'm looking at bringing a car over to Cyprus but it has to read in kph to pass the mot over here. Don't want the hassle of keep changing it though hence the reason for having both displayed.
  21. Is it only the UK spec cars that were fitted with the speedo that shows both mph and kph? Also is it a straight swap to move it across to say a jspec car? Any stumbling blocks I should know about before going ahead with it? E.g would it affect the limiter or read in kph instead of mph? Thanks in advance
  22. All this tall talk has made me feel really short now. Im 5ft 9" and didnt feel so short until I read this thread Might have to go out and buy some platforms to make me feel better. If Prince can get away with it then it must be fine...... maybe???
  23. I think people are being a bit harsh on here. I know a lot of members on here run bov which vent to atmosphere. Only reason for that is for the sound they make otherwise they would recirculate instead. My first supra had a hks ssqv fitted when I bought it and didn't mind. When I went single turbo on that car I ran without one so it's down to personal taste
  24. Probably a bit OCD myself then as it annoys me with the slightest thing on my last couple of supras. Doesn't bother me on any other cars I have had including our current car. Must be a supra thing Like I said though I will make you an offer most likely the end of this month so I know my standing money wise. It's not as straight forward for me buying a car as I'm currently working and living in Cyprus and they have weird import rules although anything is possible with the right amount of money I will be in touch
