  1. You can get a standard one from Toyota super cheap mate.
  2. Depends what sort of power you are running I think. I'm bpu so just looking for something to cover that but not sure if the mishimoto ones would be up to the job. Maybe they are but the price difference is quite a lot compared to some others so makes me doubt if they are or not. Don't mind spending the extra money if needs be but don't want to spend extra for no reason.
  3. Replacing my auto vvti radiator with a new mishimoto radiator and need to get a transmission cooler at the same time. There isn't a specific supra transmission cooler from mishimoto but comes up with a universal cooler as a recommendation. Looking at whifbitz site and srd theirs are priced much higher than this one so wondered what people think? The car it will be going on is running bpu power levels. http://www.part-box.com/product_info.php?products_id=20281 Any other recommendations are welcome if this one doesn't seem up to the job. Thanks
  4. Yeah I'm hoping that is the case until I can get a replacement. The car won't be driven anyway as the pas fluid needs changing or pas pump replacing. Cleaned the pas reservoir out the other day and was putting it back in ready to flush the system with new fluid. Just my luck that I somehow managed to snap the bit off the radiator.
  5. May take you up on that offer. Need to find out what the size and weight limits are to BFPO addresses. I'm currently living out in Cyprus at an army camp and only Royal Mail can deliver here to the BFPO.
  6. Just needs to be temporary if possible so that I can run the engine for a short time whilst flushing the pas fluid
  7. Nic it's not the pipe going from the engine to rad. It's after the rad cap on the other side going from the rad to the overflow tank. The bit that's snapped off is the plastic tube that the hose goes on to
  8. Yeah it's an auto tiptronic mate but thanks a lot for the offer
  9. Not a great day with the car today but what's happened has happened so need to get it sorted. Whilst fitting a hose back onto the pas reservoir I must have caught my arm on the hose which attaches to the radiator next to the rad cap and it broke off. Typical really that I managed to cause myself a different problem whilst fixing another. For the time being I have managed to super glue the piece back on but I'm going to hazard a guess that it won't last for very long when the engine is turned on. As I haven't got around to finishing what I was originally fixing which was flushing the pas fluid I was wondering if there was a temporary fix that is better than my super glue fix. The reason for this is because I need to run the engine to flush the pas fluid which would have been my next step until this happened. So my first question is as stated: are there any decent temp fixes until I can get a new radiator ordered? Second question: are there any radiators available that will fit straight on without having to fit an additional auto cooler? If not does anyone know the current going rate for a new unit from Toyota. Cheers
  10. Got everything else so hopefully won't be too much hassle. Did you clean the reservoir out too? I had a look at it a month or so ago and seems a bit of a pain to remove. Unless it's easier to clean out mounted in position of course. That bit is not in the guide so a bit unsure
  11. Ok thanks. Will have a look around the local area to see if I can get some.
  12. Evin can I ask where you got the hoses from and also how much length roughly do you need on them?
  13. Thanks guys. Will have a look at both of them. Don't suppose you know what sizes are needed?
  14. Which hose clips would you recommend? I have jubilee clips on my intercooler hoses and they don't seem strong enough any more. They are starting to slip on the thread when tightening. Also do you know what the diameters for the clips need to be to fit on stock hoses?
  15. Just edited my previous post. Upon looking again it's for a boot release cable and bracket. Sorry mate I miss read your post
  16. If it has a ticking noise I would say it could be a loose connection on the battery terminals. Mine did the ticking when turning the key years ago and worked after I adjusted and tightened the battery terminals. Worth a look to make sure but could be something else also.
  17. Received the battery clamp in the post today thanks. My Mrs went to collect it from the post room out here and had a right laugh. I will let the picture speak for itself [emoji38]
  18. If it's not listed you can fill out more details and they contact the manufacturer according to the website
  19. I bought some touch up paint a couple of months back from a company called chipex. They use the manufacturers colour code to get the match right and it's really easy to use. Used it last week and the results were really good
  20. Thanks for the info guys. I did think 4 litres sounded like a lot. I will be cleaning out the reservoir too whilst I'm at it and was told I need to replace a rubber o ring whilst it's off. Does anyone happen to know what the part number for this would be. It's for a tt just in case they are different [emoji3]
  21. I have looked at the faq section which recommends a flush will take 4 litres of dexron 3 but elsewhere on the forum it states dexron 2. Which one should I use? Also could anyone also confirm if it is 4 litres required to flush the ps fluid. Wanted to make sure before putting an order in. Cheers
  22. Ah ok thanks anyway. Never cleaned the reservoir before or flushed the system so want to make sure I get it right and have everything needed before I start. Did you do a flush of the system too?
