  1. Anybody on here got one in the Supra? I’m looking at getting one but don’t want it stuck to the windscreen. Ideally it would go onto the vent but with it being a round vent I’m guessing that is an issue. Interested to know what others have got which won’t fall off.
  2. I got both my front and rears made by Jurgen from JM-Imports and they fit perfectly
  3. Before changing any coilpacks it would be much more cost effective to change out the coilpack clips first as they can often be found to be the issue. Can be a bit fiddly to change but very cheap to do.
  4. If that’s true then I’m guessing he might be in some trouble
  5. Not been there before but I would have thought you would be supposed to stay in your car in the event of an accident. Saying that though he would have taken a fairly big hit whilst sat there too if he did stay in his car.
  6. Really bad crash, hopefully nobody was seriously injured http://
  7. That’s the guy. His work looks really good
  8. Cant remember his username now but there was a member on here who had an orange supra with loads of gold in his engine. He might be worth speaking to as im sure he worked at a bodyshop where his was done
  9. What is the cut-off for booking tickets as I wont know until later in the week if I can go?
  10. I have a standard Jspec holder on mine and fits perfectly with a 6 digit registration on the smaller type number plate.
  11. I suppose it depends mainly on what the use is I guess. The race pads I'm assuming will need to be warmed up to get decent braking. Not something you would be wanting for drag racing.
  12. I thought the CW pads were meant to be pretty good on UKs?
  13. In front of the radiator left hand side
  14. Whifbitz do kits on their site with all the bits you need. Different stages available depending on power levels you want. Obviously costing more the higher you go
  15. Thanks guys. Will have a look at the length of them when I go down
  16. http://www.halfords.com/motoring/number-plates/number-plate-accessories/halfords-number-plate-fixings-hfx106 Would these work front and back?
  17. Does anybody know what type of fixings I need to get to fit number plates to the front and rear. I have looked on Halfords http://www.halfords.com/motoring/number-plates/number-plate-accessories?startIndex=0&tabNo=1&pgId=1 but there are so many different types I have no idea which one I need. Many thanks
  18. Yet another money making scheme by the looks of it. It really does annoy me that they hit motorists who speed so hard yet driving whilst messing around on mobile phone/applying makeup or any other distraction seems much more acceptable. I would argue that somebody speeding on the motorway in a straight line is much less of a risk than somebody on a mobile/texting. I'm sure we all see both happening on a regular basis.
  19. I have had 3 different brake setups over the years, all on supras. Stock jspec: worked fine for general use but didn't fill me with confidence when put under heavy braking more than a couple of times. The pedal feel on these was quite spongy in my opinion. K-sport 365mm discs 8 pot front 6 pot rear: first thing I noticed with this setup was the much grippier feel from the pedal. It's quite hard to explain without feeling yourself but it gives you a better feedback. Performance wise I would say it had slightly better stopping distances than the jspecs but the main advantage was that it would not fade like the jspecs did. This alone made it worthwhile in comparison as it was much more predictable what you were going to get from pressing the brakes hard. Uk spec: pedal feel on these is a bit more spongy than the ksports but a lot better than the jspecs. Performance wise I would say is the same as the ksports if not better. It would not be worth upgrading from uk spec in my opinion. Only thing worth doing would be better pads and braided lines.
  20. Yeah not really a major issue cutting into it but was also interested to know if there was any potential issues with not having it fitted
  21. Ok so I have fitted the hard wire kit using the cigar lighter fuse to piggy back off. The problem now is that the fuse box lid (located in the driver footwell) won't go back on due to the cable coming from it. At the moment I have just left it off but wondering if it is worth drilling a hole in the side to allow the cable to pass through or whether to just leave it off. Does it matter if it's not on or is it worth drilling a hole in the side of the cover? Thanks
  22. So who will be lewis Hamiltons team mate next season? Max verstappen? That would make things interesting. Especially if Mercedes dominate like they have for the past few seasons
