  1. Just pay a dent removal company to come out and have a look at it. You'll never get it right and they will only charge around 60-100 quid for a panel.
  2. Hi all, dug these out of the garage the other day, no need for me to keep them, not used them in the couple of years I've owned them, so may be in need of a new battery, other than that they are in mint condition. Includes: Six Sensors Switch Box Headphones Instructions Hard Case Battery (very old) I want £100 including postage. First PM gets them. Ta all.
  3. Ultimate ears 5.1's best buy I've made in ages.
  4. I didn't vote and never had, they are all as bad as each other and just give lots of false promises to try and gain another single vote. They are all as bad as each other. I am still surprised that ITV haven't picked up on "Find me a Government", "Britains got Government" or "Government Factor" might be an interest proposal.
  5. Bank Holidays = shut at my gym.
  6. I don't have a retro bike like some of you, but I have almost finished my recent build, only thing needed is a set of manitou triple trees for the front and I will be happy. Few pics below from after my spin to the pub today, spot the new wheels which I have just had made for me, not huge money, but still good quality. Also had the Hope Mono 6's added a few months back, great brakes, had no issues with them ither than the inital setup, where they could do with more adjustment allowance. Also, due to many nights of riding through woods/along footpaths to get home from the pub, added some Blackburn X6 lights, brighter than car lights and great for those country lane car moments with oncoming cars that don't turn off main beam.
  7. Whole flange only by the looks of EPC...
  8. So you didn't want to put in any detail other than the mods? Like year, mileage etc etc? Might just help with your sale.
  9. Very old DB9 Volante, has the indicator in the wing still, can't tell you powertrain it had.
  10. The DBS Volante is being debuted at the Geneva Motorshow this year. Very few test subjects "might" be out and about, but all would no doubt be close to the midlands or tracking it around Europe.
  11. How do they know how much you would be paying for it? Surely someone could do you a good deal with a nicely printed up receipt? Purchase price of £500?
  12. There isn't actually a price range stated in Jakes original post so what's your point? Posting for the sake of showing you can search Autotrader for secondhand car costs doesn't help Jake to understand the running costs of such cars in any way so why mention that? Jake, if you want the contact of someone at Aston in warranty PM me and I can put you in touch with someone, they'll have a much better idea of all the costs related to servicing and fixing a V8. Or if you just want to PM some of your more important questions, I'll ask them myself during the week.
  13. The 4.3's aren't as good to drive as the 4.7's, they are very much underpowered when compared to a 911, the 4.7 was released in order to bring the Vantage back into the same playing field as the Porsche. With regards to running costs, expect it to be expensive, it does depend on how you are going to get it serviced, I would expect you will take it to a dealer or at least a specialist in order to keep a FSH. They are not cheap on bits or labour. If you do get one, I suggest you get the warranty from AML as they cover almost everything. All parts not covered by the warranty wil be main dealer only, the amount of work that goes into the components, such as tyres and pads is unbelievable, the tyres are specially made for the car and cost around 3-400 pound each. If you do get one, find the largest dealer you can for any work or bits, as they get the biggest discount so pass it on to the end user. If you could find the extra money, I'd go for the DB9, the 6.0 V12 is outstanding. The DBS is even better, but the initial cost and running costs for those is beyond belief, they are for the seriously rich only - think approximately 2-3 thousand pound for one brake disc!
