  1. That looks gorgeous, can't see this hanging around!
  2. Ok thanks guys. J_JZA80 might have to take you up on that offer! Useless at these sort of things. Treated myself to this unit instead, few addtional luxury features.
  3. So I don't even need to purchase an additional cage etc? Any specifiic removal tools (it currently has a single din unit)
  4. Does anyone know if this double din unit would be a straight swap for the Supra? Thanks Kenwood DPX7000 DAB
  5. Hi is this an easy straight swap? Is it suitable for DAB?
  6. Not good that it needs doing but good in the fact that getting them changed should hopefully cure my vibrations! I'm taking the car to Chris Wilson and leaving it with him to do the job along with some service work and just a general check over the car. He's not exactly local but feel that it would be worth it being in such good hands!
  7. Also managed to get a picture of the drivers side engine mount, doesn't look to clever? What do you think?
  8. Some new mats! Can never go wrong with some new carpet lol. Leather handbrake cover, again just to freshen it up:
  9. Lovely car, can't beat an aerotop in the sun!
  10. Managed to get the engine oil and filter changed today! Out with the old In with the new:
  11. Hi sorry I missed this, that would be brill thank you.
  12. Ended up buying a full set of pre facelift engine mounts from Keron. Figured to stick OEM and change for the stronger versions hopefully it won't need doing again for a long long time! Taking the car to Chris Wilson next week for service work and for him to fix the mounts.
  13. Hi Rob, Think this is the route I am going to take, been reading lots of positive reviews on them and would rather make the job easier by just having to replace the mounts. Can you link me to the correct ones, I have found these on ebay which are saying they are for the facelift but the Toyota number they say they are a replacement for do not seem to match: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-Vibra-Technics-Road-Engine-Mount-For-Toyota-Supra-Mk4-2JZ-Facelift-95-2002-/141982506371?fits=Car+Make%3AToyota%7CModel%3ASupra&hash=item210ed11d83:g:MogAAOSw~oFXKvHy
  14. Small update, weather is absolutely sh*** as per but was determined to at least get something done. I have now replaced all the boot rubbers, top ones were a doddle but I have had a nightmare getting the bottom ones out! The usual rounded screw head, but finally managed it. Before: https://img2.brain4.photobox.com/491971091c97bbe98bfa24f043673ef90654e55a144b6ad462d9528cb95cc4ee2cb8efed.jpg https://img2.brain4.photobox.com/298643849a44e337799501147305f4385ed82dc96e1af29bf5e04a22a2307f25426f677c.jpg After: New air filter: Also cleared out the boot lid channels by taking lights off as they were filed with gunk. Hopefully the weather will be better tomorrow to get the engine oil and filter changed.
  15. Hi would you have the engine mounts? Thanks
  16. They are a very good price compared to some I have seen (upwards of £200 for 2). What about the brackets to match would you have a part number for them?
  17. Ok I will give AC Speed Tech a ring and see what they price it up as to swap them both out.
  18. Think if I am going to do it I would prefer going for new really. May as well just go for new facelift ones as opposed to used non facelift as i'd hope they would be lasting a fair few years if they are brand new! What would be the labour charge on a job like this?
  19. Just seen these on ebay, are these the pre-facelift ones with the correct brackets? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Supra-MK-4-Engine-Mounts-and-Brackets-for-1JZ-2JZ-both-sides-/322360558907?hash=item4b0e2fc53b:g:vN4AAOSwUEVYD7Re
  20. Will start with the engine mounts and get the other mounts checked as well. Can someone link me to the correct ones? Is it a big job to swap them?
  21. Thanks Scooter! Must admit I came across a few people saying about the mounts on the facelift models, so definitely will just get them changed and be done with! To feel a nice smooth cabin again will be brilliant! Can you advice the cheapest place to buy them from? Approximately how much would a garage charge to swap them?
  22. Ok just ordered the Thermostat and new Rad cap. Is the Thermostat fairly easy to change? Not sure on wheel size, going to get them off this weekend hopefully so will report back with exact size and offset.
