  1. Could someone please help me, currently checking out some alloy wheels and found some I like the look off : Can someone photoshop these to help see what they would look like on the car, thank you. Side shot of car:
  2. Post pictures mate, would love to see what she looks like now.
  3. I'm contemplating changing the wheels on the car, I don't think they look to bad these but I think a nice set of silver wheels will go well with the gunmetal colour. What would these be worth with tyres? There is about 3-4mm of tread left on three of them, one of the wheels which needs changing. There is a few scuffs on them but overall they are in tidy condition. Car is with Chris Wilson at the moment but once back I can take plenty of close up pictures.
  4. Haha yeah definitely handbrake shoes not pads. Don't fancy changing pads every 50 miles!
  5. Car is now in the hands of Chris Wilson. Hopefully after he has looked over it the car is deemed a 'good un'! Current work being carried out is: Pre-facelift engine mounts and brackets being fitted Coolant Flush with Toyota red New Iridium Platinum plugs New genuine Toyota rear brake shoes being fitted
  6. Maybe upgrade to braided hoses? I got some Wezmoto ones that were £65 for front and backs?
  7. Mine is a daily, only had it 1 week but it's currently with the Maestro Chris Wilson having some work done!
  8. New disc, pads and braided lines fitted all round, now for the stereo install! - - - Updated - - - New stereo fitted. Chuffed with the fitment sits nicely into the dash without sticking out to much. Routed the USB connection into the centre arm box, just need a grommet to lock it in properly and then I'm going to put some foam i to it, and cut out the shape of my phone so it can fit snugly into it.
  9. Going to fit the stereo tomorrow, where is the best place to stick on the DAB Ariel? Passenger side pillar? How easy is it to remove the pillar cover to be able to attach it to some bare metal?
  10. Pre facelift engine mounts and brackets now arrived. Good to go!
  11. Got to love cars. Working fine this morning!! The only thing I noticed this morning was the bootlid not being 100% shut, so whether that was throwing some sort of error I do not know?! However the odmoeter and speedo now working.
  12. The car is a facelift NA auto by the way. Been reading about some speed sensors on the transmission, would they cause them both to stop?
  13. Will try and replace the fuse tomorrow, however the rev counter is working fine it's just the speedo and odemeter.
  14. Hoping someone can help. Left work tonight and the speedo / clock had stopped working. It was absolutely fine this morning, car had been sat in office car park and then tonight it's just stopped. All my other dials work just the speedo and clock. Any idea what may of caused this and is it an easy fix Thanks in advance.
  15. Its a Goodman's that's currently in a single din unit
  16. Thanks Rob, good old eBay £3!! Will that be all I'd need?
  17. Stereo turned up today, looks like a nice system. In readiness this is the adapter that it has come with, will this be plug and play and if not what will i need to get ordered to ensure a stress free fitting?
  18. Wezmoto brake lines also rocked up, had these fitted to the MX5 and they seem to be very good quality.
  19. Got the MX5 for that!! Did Oulton park in November and was the slowest car out haha!!
  20. I drive it like a granny very very rarely am i hard on the brakes!
