  1. Hi all We are planning to take a long weekend trip to the ring in June this year on the bike. Heading down to Dover to take the ferry across to Dunkirk. The ferry will land into Dunkirk around 5am and we then want to he'd to the spa race circuit first. Then from there to the ring. As we are on the bikes we want to take in some more interesting roads rather than being sat on the motorway for the whole journey. If we can get a couple of hours blast out of Dunkirk and then pick up some better roads to spa etc that would be ideal. Has anyone got any route suggestions they could share?
  2. Managed to get the bucket seat and racing harness installed today.
  3. Yeah pretty much 3 years now, been an excellent car, only done 43k miles and everything does feel solid still. Plan on taking it to Blink motorsports as well to get all the geo set up for fast road use
  4. Excellent choice!! I picked an NB 1.6 and honestly, it's probably the most fun car I’ve owned! As it's being used to do track days and generally just to mess about with you can just enjoy them for what they are. So far I’ve done croft, Three Sisters and Oulton Park, also taking it on a Nurburgring trip next year all being well. It’s currently got the below fitted: Ebay coilovers GCF1 Roll Bar (Highly recommend) Braided Brake Lines Momo Wheel Front and rear strut braces Uprated pads and disc Clean up of the underside MG/Rover alloy wheels painted white Few daft stickers (gotta be done) I've only yesterday purchased a second-hand cobra clubman bucket seat and a 4 point racing harness which I hope to fit at the weekend. They are great cars and I plan to run this until it becomes a really uneconomical repair, just fantastic with the roof off. Recent video from Oulton Park: http://youtu.be/_vMFIna1AMo

  6. Saw a gorgeous blue supra coming around the roundabout near Bents garden centre in Leigh. Anyone's on here?

  8. Yeah it's a great price. Gonna put it in ebay Monday if no takers. Hate ebay half the time as usually ends up with time wasters!

  12. I know this isn't the most exciting of cars but sure you guys can appreciate a nice Toyota either way! Picked up this lil beauty for a daily driver and have given it a full on clean and polish today, can't believe how clean it has come up! What do you guys think? Great fun little car to drive.
  13. Do we know which episode this is going to be yet?
  14. Hi guys Would anyone here have access to the motorbike Glasses price guide. Got a feeling my bike is going to be written off and want to try have some sort of idea where it's going to be. Reg is SN09 MXD Kawasaki ER6F mileage 12,300.
  15. Mystery solved. The light kit is only a brake light and not intended to also be a brake light!
  16. Having a nightmare trying to wire in a givi light kit on my bike. The lights come on but when the brake pedal is pressed the lights go off on the back box but not on the bike. What am I missing here https://youtu.be/y9ympIBWr3w
  17. Morning all, We have our big day coming up on the 19th October and we have just been let down by someone who was going to be our photographer for the day. He wasn't a professional just a hobbyist but as we are on such a tight budget we couldn't afford to pay for a pressional photographer as they seem to range over 1k. Could anyone recommend anyone around the Warrington area who doesn't cost the earth? Even if it was just for the main ceremony bit and then let friends and family take the rest for the evening. Cheers
  18. These were given to me when I bought my 1999 NA Supra as it was upgraded to have the LS400 calipers. They will need a good clean up and rebuild . £40 Inc carriage for them, will chuck in th disc and pads but no idea what sort of condition they would be in.
  19. I've gone for the 200p version with a few extras, moon filter, light pollution filter, Barlow 2" lens, laser collimator and a book called turn left at Orion so hopefully everything needed to really get started. Really looking forward to it!
  20. Hoping to get some advice. I really would like to get a decent telescope to do some star gazing with. I've been looking at various sites to try gauge a good beginner telescope but it's a minefield. Budget is around £400 max and just want to make sure I get the best I can for my money. I mainly want to view planets/galaxies if possible, nebulae just the usual sort of stuff as clear as possible. Would maybe like to branch into the photography side as well if possible so one with the option to upgrade would be good. It'll be going in conservatory so doesn't need to be to portable.
  21. Trying to find some easy to use software to edit my go pro videos. All I ever need to do really is to split the videos into smaller clips, I know the go pro software allows you to do this but it's not the easiest way of clipping . Any recommendations?
  22. Must admit thought they'd be snapped up at this price! Suppose the brackets themselves is not something that is likely to fail but even so, worth having a spare set on a car this old.
